I know this mod is old, and no one has commented on it in over a year. I'm trying to use this mod for SE where do I paste the companionshousekeeping script? In the description it just says game folder, so just anywhere? Thankful for any reply.
(There are two script files, a .pex file goes directly into the "script" folder, inside the "script" folder there is a "source" folder, put the .psc file in here.
I think this mod causes a bug for later. It works fine all the way through the main Companions quest. However, Aela kept giving me the Animal Extermination quest over and over, not the Totems of Hircine. So, before I completed one of these I took at the mod, turned in the quest, got another Animal Extermination, turned that in, and got Totems of Hircine. It may be chance, but it's something I wanted to bring up just in case.
I'm using this in SSE and it seems to work fine. I like this this is a "simple" mod in that it doesn't require an esp and does its job in a minimal way.
If you are using the Cutting Room Floor mod, it will add the Animal Pelt Collection quest to the Companions. This quest will not count for any of the quest requirements, but you can still do the other quests. So don't worry if you're not getting the main quests.
I'm pretty sure this mod is overwriting the changes made to CompanionsHousekeepingScript.pex by USLEP and USSEP. It works fine while you're doing the questing. After it's all done, if you take the option to cure yourself of lycanthropy, some of the fixes from the unofficial patches don't follow through.
I can't be absolutely certain it's this mod, but it is the only other one I have that has anything to do with the Companions.
wow this is actually simple yet pretty great. i never did like how you can go from new guy to circle member in a few days (game time not real time) got my endorsement
