I really liked the look of this, but I install it only to discover that the cloth and heavy are the same - but the light looks different. Very disappointed at this, since I use light armor, and it makes no sense, as shouldn't cloth and heavy be the most different?
There is a bug that wearing the gloves without the cuirass makes part of the arms invisible, but it's not a bother in itself, and I'm sure others have reported it.
Fiddled around with Creation Kit 2.0 and managed to convert the armor to work with SSE. With your permission, I'd like to upload the conversion onto the SE Nexus, or I can provide the files for you to upload. Will send a PM as well.

Seeing as permission was granted to someone else further down this thread, I've gone ahead and ported this mod to Skyrim Special Edition. No edits made, just re-saved the .esp and meshes. Have included link to original mod on the port's mod page.
Just one little thing stopping me on this....that damn left wrist manacle. I prefer symmetrical gauntlets. I'd gladly use a crafted pair of steel nordic gauntlets with this amazing looking armor, but that bloody manacle just gets in the way.
Oh well, I'm still endorsing, since this is incredible work....but damn that wrist manacle lol.

Edit: Cancel that, brought it over loaded it and noticed the armor having a bunch of black squares flickering on it. Removed it though

I tried migrating this mod to Special Edition. At the forge, all the mod's items are displayed as steel plate and if I forge them, they have no textures, there's just the plain, purple meshes. Does anyone have an idea what went wrong?
