Not sure if someone is still checking this but the whole thing is bugged. After exiting the cave Hadvar is stuck and he's saying just "I think we're almost out. Come on!". Impossible to make him move to finish the quest and to progress further.
I never had problem with this and I always use this save. It could be bad load order or something else. Make sure to have Skyrim 1.7 with Heartfire and Dawnguard recommended or up. You might have to save and then reload to new save.
Hello, thank you for your answer. I have the last version of Skyrim (1.9.32.0. including all DLC (Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn). The game is heavily moded indeed but everything is working fine as most of the mods are gear related (weapons, armor, etc.) and graphics related (water, lights, etc.).
Your file is just a normal save so i don't think is concerned by the mods loading order. I followed your advice (to save and load) but is still not working. Hadvar is stuck whatever i do... oh well, thanks anyway. At least i can test some high level builds with the secondary quests.
That's just weird,I play with and with out mods and works for me I also have all DLC and updated latest patch. He should have moved when you move to the quest location(arrow) by the rock,he should be crouching front of you beside the rock when the dragon flies by. I use boss to re order the main game files because sometime the order is not correct for the main game files and can cause problems.
