As a Tlingit indigenous person this is a great looking mod, but it's Tlingit/Haida in origin. Could you convert this to a stand alone mod? Love that shield!

    Great armor set!

I do have to point out that the image on the shield is not Central or South American, it is Native to Athebascan culture in North America, in the Northwestern Canadian and Alaska area.

Hoo boy, where to start? I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that your university project wasn't for a history class, because this is grossly historically inaccurate.

That design on the shield is from the American Northwest cultural region (eg. Tlingit), NOT Mesoamerica (eg. Aztec). Moreover, the shape is all wrong. Aztecs typically used flat round shields (think smaller, mostly wooden versions of the kinds city guards use throughout the holds), often embellished with paints and feather mosaics. Feathers or paper streamers would typically would have typically trailed from the bottom edge. In contrast, the Maya would often employ soft, flexible rectangular leather shields; these would have been embellished with appliques and/or fringes along the top and bottom edges.

Mesoamerican metallurgy was relatively limited by the time of the Spanish Conquest, usually limited to gold and silver jewelry. Mesoamerican warriors did NOT have metallic armor. Basic armor consisted of a 2- or 3-layer quilted cotton vest and leggings, which were hardened by soaking in brine and letting cool in the shade; salt crystals built up in the fabric, giving the armor similar stopping power to modern bullet-proof vests. Higher-ranking individuals had the privilege of embellishing their armor with paints, feathers (as in full feather mosaic vests and trousers), and elaborate headgear. The highest-ranking officers also got to wear quetzal feathers and elaborate back-mounted banners, and would wear bright red rectangular mantles outside of combat.

The helmet looks superficially similar to some Aztec helmets I've seen, but again, it looks closer to something from the American Northwest than something you'd find in ancient Mexico.

I would just like to say thank you to the couple of people who submitted feedback. Maybe in mid january I will come back to this mod in my spare time. For the moment, I must prepare for exams. Cheers again
