Yes she is Nord. I started to work and did not consider that. Afterwards I tried to change it but then her face didn't look nice. So I left the race as it was.
About the problem with the weapons I have unfortunately no idea. I created a copy of the NPC dunCGStormcloakPrisonerFemaleDEAD removed all not needed things and edited it to create Milana. Maybe this information will help further.
This is the second NPC i ever made. Thats why i started with a copy of dunCGStormcloakPrisonerFemaleDEAD. All my NPCs i created after her i started from the ground up. I did not think that there would be problems with Milana. Therefore I do not again rebuilt her.

I thought she was Redguard but I now see she's Nord ? odd Is it intentional or a bug that she doesn't equip any weapons unless in combat or when I draw mine out? I'd like to allow her to show the bow on her back or the sword on her hip. Everytime we're not fighting, it's like she pockets every weapon and it bothers me...
I suppose she has a default follower voice. but I gotta say she's beautiful. great job! could you, by any chance, remove Apachii from masters? i'd rather not use apachii at all... ever
