This is a little confusing since he supposedly made it back for Dark Souls 2. I mean, they don't say it directly but nobody wears that armor, uses that spear, and fights like Ornstein does. But I'm just sayin'.
The actual sad thing is, that Ornstein was still alive when Smough crushed him with the hammer. Look at the Cutscene once again, you see Ornstein how he moves his hand.
Anyone else see how this could also apply to a sort of Gravelord Servant-esque idea? The bed lets you get, "in," the coffin, and it relocates you like the DB mission does. Awe. Some. Ness.
The lore was great. I only hoped that there would be a cropses which is wearing the armor, like you need to lift the coffin and see his armor, there would be his ghost and ask if the dragon born would be willing to take the armor as a legacy. That would sound great
@Ranzel nice try, but that's not Ornstein's armor. It is is based on it, as well as other armors, but it's a different one, not a copy nor a tribute to any copyrighted armor.
btw, I'm also a fan of Ornstein's ... armor ( I have to continue playing Dark Souls).
