Finally got a chance to check out the cabin. I set up camp near The Last Vigil so it is not too far away from your cabin. But... where are the npcs? I have yet to see the man and his wife anywhere near the house!

    P210: You're welcome.

vvk78: Thank you. I hope you enjoy the mods.

The location is given in the map screenshot. I can't see how I could be more clear than that (though, in v1.3, the cabin's map marker is "Autumn Cabin" and not "Log Cabin"). Basically, it is mostly north of Riften and you will come across it if you travel the main road from Riften's northern entrance.

Sorry, but I think I'm done doing requests for my mods unless the request is an idea that I would like to see in the main version of the mod. It is just too time consuming.

@dj2005, your mods are great. I am downloading most of them.

The location of this housemod is not clear, but from the looks of its environs, it appears to be near Riften (that broken tree stump looks familiar). Perhaps adding a line to describe the route to the Cabin, might help new players.

Request: Can you please add the NPC merchants back to the player-owned Autumn Cabin version?
I really like a "lived in" feel to my Skyrim houses, and it is always nice to meet new NPCs. You can give them beds/bedrolls if that's possible, while ensuring one bed is reserved for the player.

    Thanks!

@dj2005, thank you for the updates, especially the no NPC option.

    Version 1.3:
Player can now move the table in front of the cooking pot. This will also make the cooking pot interactive (so you can now cook!).
Added a sack container near the fireplace and near the alchemy table for extra storage.
Renamed the cabin and its map marker to Autumn Cabin (was previously Log Cabin).

I've also uploaded an optional version that makes Autumn Cabin player owned from the start (no two NPC merchants).

That would just be incredible. I'm currently having to go outside, and using the mod Frostfall, spend an hour gathering would and making a campfire on the lawn with which to use my portable cooking pot and I just feel ridiculous considering there is a static cooking pot inside.

Just a thought, but you might want to add a small sack or something near the cook station for ingredients, although that veggie basket is spectacular. You may not though, because, well, that cabin isn't exactly spacious ;P

Faraneth: Hello again. I tried to find a place for a working cooking pot when I originally made this mod but couldn't due to space limitations (hmm, where did I run into this problem before? ). An activator sounds like a very good idea and I'll try to release that this weekend (or this week depending if I have time).

Hey again. I'm afraid I'm here to ask the same question I asked on another mod. Is there anyway you could post an optional file with a working cooking station? I realize the little table is in the way of the current one but for those of us who run hunger and thirst mods a cooking station in our home is essential. I would do it myself but I've never been very good at editing locations in the CK, which you are obviously excellent at.

I absolutely love everything about this little cabin and would like to use it as my home but sans cooking station that creates a problem.

Edit: I know it would take even more work but how awesome would it be if you created an activator that removed the table and made the cooking pot useable, kind of like the campfire at the base of your Forgotten Windmill mod.

    Thanks Richard and Naenre!

If I just made this a player home rather than a merchants' home and player home, then I probably would've gotten quite a few more endorsements, but I prefer the way the mod functions with the merchants.

Shop inventory and cash supply can be easily increased/expanded, but I'm not sure what else they would sell besides a couple more alchemical and blacksmith items.

I completely agree with Richard. Very good. Would like to see more shop inventory and cash supply but overall god it's a great addition. Love every bit of it! I'm glad I came back to Skyrim with this mod installed!!
