Regarding Skyrim Special Edition: Even tho this mod does not use SKSE or SkyUI's MCM I have no desire to port this specific mod to SSE. If anyone wishes to take the ideas of this mod to create and support their own variation for SSE, feel free.
My laptop which could play Skyrim is broken beyond hope. I do not foresee affording a replacement anytime in the near future. Therefore let this notice supersede any previous permissions settings...
This mod, resource and/or tutorial is to be considered "open permission". Do what you wish, upload where you wish, so long as you give credit where it is due. Thank you.
Have been using this mod for multiple playthrus. Brilliant, extraordinarily helpful and a must have. Would love to see it updated for Dragonborn; the quick store/retrieve spells in the 1.3 version don't recognise DB ingredients or crafting mats, like Stalhrim, Scathecraw, etc.
Guess I forgot to make a note on here. This has been extensively expanded and turned into a whole new mod with additional features.
Inventory Management System Might want to check it out since it includes several DLC and mod items/workstations from the get go. It can also "learn" to store new items from what items (perhaps from "non-supported" mods) are stored.
I'd been using a conjured chest mod for this purpose but now I have switched over to this mod. An excellent and convenient addition to my game. Thank you so much!
I just happened to stumble across this hidden gem and am loving it so far! I have been using JustinOther's Bag of Holding mod since I first started playing Skyrim and never thought I would need anything else, until I saw yours with its auto-store and auto-retrieve features.
The only tiny quibble I have is those auto spells have to be equipped before casting by default. I just made spell rings for those two spells with Smart Cast so I can hotkey them and not have my weapon unequip when I use it, so I'm great now.
do you think it could auto-store all items that are not favorited also? and even misc items? and, on retrieval we could take severe damage also, to help on preventing use during combat? and to increase its fun EDIT: also it could have a chance of spawing a daedra
btw the auto store could check if alchemy or any other menumode is opened (like frostfall crafting), and postpone the storing to happen only in game mode? EDIT: may be, with SKSE, we could bind 2 keys, one to store and other to retrieve crafting items?
Question? Any chance you could link me to a guide to tell me how to add items to the list of stuff for auto-sorting? I have a lot of stuff that i have to manually store cause it aint on the list. other wise i feel that this BoH is the best on the nexus. It has the best polish and energy was put into the "story" behind it.
This version uses form lists to list off the various items to be used in the auto-transfer & auto-storage processes.
There are three ways you can go about adding to the lists.
#1 temporarily convert the other mod(s) into masters and make them parents of this mod. You can then use the objects from the other mods and add them to the form lists in this mod. See the linked subsection for the process on converting an ESP for use as a parent mod http://isharameradin.zxq.net/MakingAPlayerBasedMannequin.html#ESPparents
#2 The script on the bag of holding container can be modified with appropriate checks to add additional items of item types to the form list. You would use AddForm
#3 Use the console and add specific items to the form list but this is not reversible and will persist in the save game. Use with care. http://www.creationkit.com/AddFormToFormList
I was working on something that would be free of any mod/DLC requirements and would work with any items from any mod/dlc. I never got it finalized before the computer that could run Skyrim died.
Although I do have another method of performing similar actions that do not require any dependency on any mod or dlc. However, I am not sure if I will incorporate it into this as an update/upgrade or if I will create something new instead. It all depends on how it plays out. And more importantly whether I feel such changes work with the ideas originally behind this mod.
More than that one could not reasonably ask. Thank you for even taking the time to think about it! Either way, I can't imagine playing without the Glimpse of Elsweyr. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Thanks again for a great mod :-)

Thanks, and definitely endorsed.

Perhaps a link to the WIP thread will help you to understand what I'm doing.

Your post did not make any sense to me. Can you please restate your question? Thank you.
That is sad, as centralized storage is a very usable function.
