i'm not having any luck getting the necklace to work. i can get the NPC, and can steal the necklace from him, but when i put it on, nothing happens. am i doing something wrong?
In this version you just kill the NPC to get the amulet. I had a quest prepared, but for some reason the NPC would lose the Alias. Just kill him (or pickpocket) for now.
aren't you overreacting a bit, he didn't steal your mod or anything else from you, all he did was have the same idea, you dont see people making a fuss over katana mods.
i think its perfectly good to have some diversity, competition is a good motivator to get both mods to be better. Personally i have not been able to get your mod working and figured it was dead. The azura star player home is a brilliant lore friendly idea so its natural others will attempt to realize it.
i hope that you in time will not see this as stealing and more along the lines of you being the first to get a great idea, i sincerely doubt that the author of this mod had any malicious or devious intent when he created this.
edit: found the error.. NMM did put both the .esp and the .pex in the data folder, while the second one should go in the script folder.. problem solved, thank you very much! now I have to solve the mannequins issue, one of them is like wondering around the bed.. and there's the sound of the "weapon sharpening station" all over the place but there's no "weapon sharpening station".. oh, and, isn't it a little to much of a trip to go to the mannequins?
I like this mod idea. (i know there's another, but like you said, yours is separate.)
I tried...desperately tried...to use the CK to make an azura's star home myself and between work and school I don't have the time to work magic with the CK, let alone, make a bookshelf. *cries in corner*
I will support you mod and send you spices from the motherland should you impress or provide great features to this home mod. I would really like to see this mod take off and become one of the #1 houses available.
If you're wanting some suggestions, placing a heavy mist around the forge, chest, enchanting tables, alchemy tables might help with that stark contrast of the dark furniture with the very light floor.
I like the way you've arranged the furniture, but i'm not sure if that many mannequins is appropriate for a soul gem house.
A Small library perhaps?
In return for your support of this idea, I would like to extend my services in GFX; should you need them.
