Oh really...?! D Ha ha... mä oon kyllä melko varma, että perkele tarkoittaa jotain aivan muuta Ha Ha... Im pretty sure that word perkele means somethtin totally dirrerent
It occurs to me.... Something I don't always check, and usually catches me, and not sure if I mentioned it.... Double check the names on the bones you moved. If the names aren't correct after moving them, it's like they aren't even there as far as the game is concerned =P
The other thing you could do, is when importing and exporting from your modeling program, make sure you have the whole skeleton there. Seems easier that way for me. Makes the weighting work better too.
Hmm... I figured something... I didn't create esp file, I tried to replace vanilla steel helmet but I replaced only "helmet_0.nif", some atributes also may be wrong in my replacement file...
I have to start over again and be more careful... thiis time Ill try to create esp file...
Hey Jussi, I have same problem , I followed the directions below to the letter and soon as you go to equip it on the player it immediately crashes skyrim (even with all Mods deactivated). Is shame I couldn't get it to work either is a bad as helmet too. Anyway's keep trying once you get it figured out and release the mod it'll prob be highly downloaded and endorsed 9 times out of 10. Cheers!
As in a regular steel helm? You might have saved an incidental change in it when grabbing a bone for your helmet by mistake in the nif itself. Did you copy the bone to your armor and leave the regular helm alone? Unless its something else in the esp you made to check it, that's doing something weird. Happens to me all the time, I tend to keep a "testing" esp, for just that reason in case I really do something silly.
