@rolloLG: If I'm understanding the description correctly, this makes it so that you're never overencumbered. If you're carrying 200lbs of stuff, the mod adjusts you carrying capacity to 200. If you're carrying 500lbs, it adjusts the capacity to 500. I could be wrong though... the description could use some work.

Yes, you understood correctly, however I think what confuses are downloading files and their names, because to my surprise this mod with simple appearance is actually very problematic.
If the downloads section alone could be a file called "elastic inventory" xD all this would be very clear and effective...

And should probably make the inventory be current items' weight, plus some amount, like 50 or 100, to account for scripted events adding stuff to inventory in ways that this script might not instantly detect.

I installed the mod with the manager, and it is among the top load mods of the game, but when i start the game, the mod never loads, and so it is like if i neved installed it. I don't have any other mods that would conflict with this one, so any ideas of what is causing the problem and how i could possibly fix it?

I apologize for my very long inactivity, I was very busy in my personal life and in a macromod, the only problem is that the macromod departed with the death of a hard disk, was nearly completed, this caused me away from creation kit, photoshop , NifSkope, Blender etc... for a while. You can imagine how angry xD

Indeed, I have experienced quite some system failure over the year, which did encourage me to some more equipment : auto backup hard drive, and automated save of some folder over a large usb drive, then, I have my docs over several hard drives, so in case one is gone, I still have the others files.

Have strength, and nice to have you coming back..

The mod seems to have broken. It worked perfectly fine a month ago but now it's not working at all. I know it's not a mod conflict since it was working perfectly with all my mods previously... I think it was a game update that broke it.

I recently discovered that the werewolf transformation changes the value "carryweight" in two different ways, this causes incidents in the script.
      There may be a connection?
      Do tried reinstalling the mod?

I need a hint of the problem.

damianq, I am having an issue where when I turn the mod off with the Nexus mod manager, it does not revert my inventory capacity to where it should be. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Do I need to modify a config file? I intend to really only use this mod if I want to move houses, not for general play.

      1. Check if the NMM is not registered properly during installation and changes to reverse them was Able During uninstallation:

      Delete File:
      ... / Skyrim / data / Rubber Inventory.esp
      ... / Skyrim / data / Scripts / RubberInventory.pex

      2. Start your last saved game

      3. unequip items what you has carrying capacity enchantments

      4. you do the math:

      50 - (your number of stamina) = A
      A / 2 = B
      300 + B = C

      4. open the command console (°) and write: player.setav C

      5. Save the game

      6. Load the game and equip yourself.

What's the point of this mod?
Readme is not clear... it's just a cosmetic solution instead of showing 0/340?

The objetive: to automatically carrying capacity is equal or greater than the weight carried.

    Hello damianq,

Im sorry but yesterday I have tried werewolf transformation for the first time and I must confirm that the problem with the inventory still persist. At this point, Im not certainly sure which event exactly is the one that triggers this problem, so I will keep watching it and will let you know all the details I find.

For now, I think it happened after killing the first prey as a werewolf and feeding on it afterwards, that caused some weird glitch, I was turned back into normal, non-werewolf form and got the message saying that I cant run because I carry too many items. That was quite annoying because I was planning to stay as a werewolf and keep feeding, but since this problem occured, I had to eat some potato to update my inventory and wait 24 hours to be able to turn into a werewolf again. The interesting thing here is that the next time I turned into a werewolf, I was able to stay in that form without any inventory problems so it seems like this problem happens just randomly, but maybe there is some trigger to this problem which is still unhandled.

Anyway, If I understood correctly the way how the current version of your mod is supposed to work, that it keeps updating the inventory stats every 3 seconds if I remember correctly? Well maybe the math for this works well when the mod is loaded, but when it does not load for some reason, it could still run into this problem right? I believe that changing races like in this case when you turn into a werewolf, maybe that is one of the events when this mod should be reloaded if possible at all, to make sure the inventory stats will keep updating so it will not end up with the message that your inventory is full.

This is as much info as I have at the moment, I will update you with more details if I find any other situations when this problem can occur.

    EDIT
I forgot to mention, when the problem occured, after sudden change back to normal non-werewolf form, when I could not run as I was carrying too many items, I checked my inventory and the max. number of the items I can carry was really lower than the number of the items I had, so I assume that the mod has not been loaded at that point in the first place, so it could not handle that situation, but I dont know how your mod works, you will know better, I just thought this info would help.

    UPDATE
It seems like when Im changed from werewolf form back to normal race in general, that event is still unhandled by this mod and I receive that message I cant run as Im carrying too many items, that is exactly what has happened to me right now when I tested it again.

I am glad that correction system function as expected.
Regarding the werewolf transformation, I am sure that there will be no problems, but I hope comments.
    Greetings.

    Hello again damianq!
Thanks for this new version it seems to be working fine for me now!
If I encounter any further problems, I will surely let you know. I did not reach the point in my game where I could choose to become a werewolf yet so I cant confirm if that problem regarding werewolf transformation is fixed now, but the problems I had before seem to be fixed with this new version, good job.

    Thanks again.
