Just a note to let everyone know that I updated Vladamir, so their shouldn't be anymore problems with purple eyes, no body showing, anything like that. He should be all good now. Let me know if you are still having problems.
New eye texture replacer is called The Eyes of Beauty (link on description page). You will need to DL and install that in order for Vladamir's eyes to show up properly. Changes to the required mods list are found on the description page under Mod Dependencies, please make sure you have all the proper mods installed before asking questions. Just a quick note to update you all on my progress. At the moment I am having collision problems with the first floor walls of the house (I can walk right thru the walls), not sure why its happening but progress has been halted on the house till I can get it fixed. BUT I don't want to keep you all waiting any longer than necessary, so I have switched gears and will be working solely on the followers themselves so I can at least get them done and uploaded for you all. I am hoping to have all 8 done by end of august, early september. But that isn't set in stone, unfortunately I can't give an accurate estimate of when they will be done with my health issues being what they are, but end of august is my goal. I want to thank everyone for your patience, and encouragement. The fact that you all like my followers so much gives me the energy to keep working on them. So thank you for that. And I promise to get them done as soon as I can.
I know you are all eagerly awaiting the standalone version of my Gorgeous Men of Skyrim follower mod. And it is in the works, along with the player house and inn that will go with it. But there have been some delays that I wanted to make everyone aware of in the meantime. These last couple months have been really hard on my family, husband lost his job, car broke down, hubby's mom passed away, and then my skyrim game had a coronary and I am now in the process of rebuilding my game folder. I am hoping to be back to modding by the end of the week, if all goes well. But I dont have an ETA yet as to when the standalone mod will be done, as I still have a TON of stuff to do for it. But I promise to try and keep you all updated as best as I can so that you know how things are going. If you have questions, or problems with the mod, I do check these posts often so you can leave a comment here or you can pm me if you need help with something.
Anyway, I just wanted to reassure you all that I will be working on the standalone mod, its just taking a heck of a lot longer than I first expected it would. So hang in there, it will get done, eventually lol, I promise .
I downloaded this mod and the sebastion mod. I am having an issue with my game. I attempted to delete both mods and my game wont run without them even though i deleted all of my saved files and redownloaded skyrim. I also tried deactivating them in the data files and the NMM and the game still wont run. I have never had this issue with any other mod. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
I have downloaded all your male followers. And only Vladamir is no good in game. Let's say fr example, Sebastion can easy handle group of enemies without my help. But Vladamir is in fact doing nothing. I gave him one hand weapon, two hand weapon, and no matter what weapon I gave him, he is very weak. He can't even finish one enemy without beiing incapacitated. Even if I choose what kind of fighting he needs to do (via AFT), he can't kill enemy without my help. He swings weapon for few times and than he get's "tired" and just waits fmor me to kill all the enemies. And again this is only with Vladamir.
First off thank you for making some hunky man mods! Unfortunately your sext men are naked whenever I find them and when I go into their inventory to equip their armor it just makes their body disappear! I'm using the body, face and hair mod that you use in the photos but have none of the others, is that maybe what is causing the glitch? Thanks!
Thx glad you like them. Yes, my mod requires you to DL the armor and weapons mods as well as their hair, eye mods etc. Tho I think there have been updates to some of the armors, so even if you DLed the armor, if its not the same version that I used to make it with, it will still show up as invisible. I am in the process however of making them all standalone, so hopefully soon, you won't have to DL anything extra to use them. The eye mod I used for them is no longer on the nexus, so the standalone versions will use a different eye mod. As for the nakedness, I did it that way cause all the guys were made with NPCeditor, and for some reason if I make the usual armor "skin", it won't let me hire them, so had to just leave the armor and weapons in inventory. Hopefully making them standalone may fix that problem as well. Tho I'm still gonna put their armor and weapons in inventory, and just use a loin covering for the skin, cause the new skin textures I will be using don't have undies, so their would be a lot of "packages" hanging out if I didn't at least cover that lol. I'm doing it that way cause they all will have their own unique set of tattoos, an with an armor "skin" that would hide the tats. And this way also gives you more freedom to choose other armor and weapons for them if you don't like what I give them. I don't have an ETA yet on when the standalone versions will be done, with my health issues being what they are, its hard to plan anything, but I am shooting for end of August/ early september.
I updated all my follower mods, so they should all work fine now, so that hopefully will hold ya over till I get the standalone versions done. Tho it will be a while yet, as I will be taking some time off from modding to have a dialysis port put in, I have to have an artificial artery put in as my own are too small to use for dialysis ( too much risk of a blow out). So I won't have use of the arm that they put the port in for a few weeks, so can't mod till after that. So hang tight, I will get them done as soon as I can, just got a lot going on in my life atm lol.
Make sure to DL the latest versions of his armor, weapons, hair and eye mods, and the latest bandolier mod (I believe I used bandolier on this guy).
Hey everyone, I'm back after being sick for the last couple months, and just found out that the eye mod that I used for my guys, is no longer available on the nexus, at least I cant find it. So I am in the process of looking for a new one to replace it, and once i can get permission to use it in my mods, I'll get to work updating all my guys, so that you have something useable until I can get the standalone mod done.
Hello there. I just have one tiny question. Lets say.. umm.. i deleted Vladimir in my computer.. and loaded my game with Vladimir, still being my companion.. and continued my game.. and saved it. Then when I was going to recruit Lydia.. i found out i couldn't recruit her.. figured out that maybe ir's because i did not part ways with Vladimir even before i deleted him. How would I fix this glitch exactly? I tried re-installing Vladimir and interacting with him again.. so I could part ways.. turns out i could only click the "follow me" button again.. and sadly, i still can't recruit the newly installed Vladimir because i haven't parted ways with his old file.. i guess? Please help. T^T
Hehe, yea he was my first one. And he is based off my actual player character Valknir. When I have him in my group we look like twins, since his look is basically the same as my player character lol. Theres a screenshot of them together in the image section if you want to see them lol.
Hmm, I think that if you give him an item, like the sword thru the I need to trade something option (which is in the vanilla follower dialogue options list, that he should auto dress in whatever he has that is best as far as weapons and armor go. So just make sure to take any armor and weapons or jewelry that you dont want him to use off of him, and make sure that you only give him the things that you want him to wear. Should work if you do it that way.
Thank you! He uses his sword now. I have the extensible follower mod so I didn't have the option to tell him to dress better. I love your guys, i'm a girl gamer and it's so hard to find decent guy companions and yours are the best I've been able to find. Vladamir is definitely my favorite out of the bunch.
Ok I uploaded a version that has no spells on him at all, so hopefully that will make it so he just uses the sword. I also removed his stealth meter, so all you rogue type characters can take him on your adventures without worrying about him giving away your postion. Let me know if you have any other problems with him.
hmmm IDK, did you give him a better one than the one that came with him?? Also do you use UFO? cause if you use ufo then you can just tell him to dress better and he will equip whichever sword is better. Or if you want him to use a specific one, just remove any other swords he may have on him.
Not sure why he is using magic, I dont think I gave him any spells, cept maybe the basic heal spell. I'll load him up and check what I put on him. And delete any unecessary spells.

and set it to 0 (no brackets <>
and it will reset your follower count to zero and you should be able to recruit again.
so it should look like this :
