I was unaware of this mod when I started coding, so I wrote Jaxonz Positioner which turns out to be a superset of Decorator Assistant functionality and does not require ScriptDragon. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52583
I hit semi colon and it says "release to decorate" but when I release the item falls and I get the messages "decoration mode enabled |decoration mode disabled"
What I thought at first was; if you hit the 'alt' key it would rotate my item, if I hit the shift it would do it fast. What you need to do to rotate is HOLD the 'alt' key while you rotate with the arrows and with page up + down to rotate around the respective axis.
the mod don´t work. I use Nexus Mod manager an activate the Mod in my game, but nothing happens. I use Skyrim Version 1.9.32.0 Please help me. I just want a nice home... ;_;
Sorry to hear it's not working for you. I have been using it recently and it is working fine for me, so maybe we can figure out the problem!
Have you tried this:
1) Make sure you have the latest ScriptDragon correctly installed. It's necessary for this mod to work. (Not SKSE.)
2) Manually install the plugin instead of using NMM. The instructions on the mod description worked for me. If you don't have one of those folders mentioned there, just create it--ScriptDragon will know to find the plugin there.

Finally! Exactly the mod I was looking for! No more frustration as I try to decorate my house. Like the last poster, I also couldn't get the SKSE version to work, but this one works like a charm.
