    Very useful mod. Thank you! Picking locks gets to be like having to stop and retie your shoelaces over and over all day long. And, HiFiSi, remember that the public is a bell-shaped curve. There will ALWAYS be loud whiners on one end of the curve complaining that flowers look ugly and demanding that the rest of us share in their incantations of darkness. Be kindly grateful that we are not like them, then they are unable to cast their dark spells over us. And, wish them light in their darkness.

    Wow, EPR90 and collinmacleod completely missed the point of a CHEAT mod like this. This is listed under "Cheats" for a reason, and its in the title before you even click the darn page and as such whining about it being too easy or not being fair is thrown out the window the moment you come to this page. So thank you OP for this. Ignore the clueless comments.

    It's not letting me take the perk (even with the mod enabled) without having enough perk points invested in lockpicking to buy the locksmith skill per usual ;..;

      If that's the case, you've got another mod that involves this perk and it's overriding it. It will work 100% guaranteed unless there's a mod conflict. Try putting this mod lower (or even last) in your load order.

    This mod IS SkyRe compatible, as I found out. The perk appears high in the tree, but it's still there and still works perfectly. To get it without spending perks and leveling up to get access to it, just use

      Don't even need to do addperk, I just bought it from the top of the tree. The limited requirements worked way up there.

    Not wrong, for thinking it would be nice to add it to the tree. -1 for you.

    Nice! I hate opening lockpicks, specially when I already played the game 300 times... Thanks for making this!

    *O* neato, thank you very much for this.

    was in this one cave at like level 10 seems like every gate was expert or master and i managed to pick them all and get to the end only to get one hit by a draugr in there, sent all the way back to the start of the cave and had to re pick all the doors. This mod is beautiful to me just cause it can save me from that.

    No, I wouldn't upload a mod that makes unlock spells, there are already a number of those here. And why put it at the top of the perk tree and require you to get to 100 in lockpicking and spend 5 or 6 perk points to get to it? If you have 100 in lockpicking and all of the other perks, there's really no point in having this anyway. This is a cheat mod. If you're going to cheat, at least it should be easy to do so and not require hours of leveling up a skill and getting perks.

    If I wanted it to be something I had to achieve, I would have left the prerequisite perk requirement and skill level requirement alone, or even made them greater. But then I would have listed it in the skills section and not the cheats section.

    I really don't see the point in posting "this makes it too easy" on a mod that is clearly meant to be a cheat and is categorized as such.

    And if like you say, you'd wish an ability like this took some time and effort to acquire? Here's what you do. install the mod. Then, use a modicum of self control and wait until you're level 100 in locksmithing and have all the other perks before learning it. I've only made this available to you. It's up to you to decide how and when to use it. I'm not going to force anything on anyone.
