  • It's dead, Jim

What a dramatic thing to say! But I don't think anyone is surprised by this point.

After how many times I've tried and failed to revive this project, it's become sort of a running joke. I think it's about time to finally let it rest in peace. For good this time. Pinky promise no more necromancy.

Wait, that's it? What happened to 3.0? What have you been doing the entire past year? WHAT WHAT WHAT?

The answer is... quite a lot actually. None of it related to VT unfortunately. I've been part of the core Devious Devices team and that's been my priority as far as Skyrim modding goes. But what really consumes most of my attention these days is Stellaris.
I've been working together with Nessa (of New Ve...

  • Progress mini-report + struggles + Brand New Code

Hello again! It's been a while since I announced my plans and you may be wondering how far along they have progressed since then!

I guess I should start with the bad news. Before I could even get to work, my old laptop broke down.
Happily no data was lost in the process and the Mod Organiser environment I had set up allowed me to seamlessly move everything over to the new lappy I got a few days later. However, complications started when I updated to Windows 10 and suddenly my Creation Kit started crashing randomly every couple of minutes!

BUT I think I've managed to fix it now (apparently it was as simple as launching CK in Windows XP compatibility mode) and I had some free time to spend on playing around with stuff the last couple of wee...

  • I'M NOT DEAD! <3 + Teaser of things to come

It's been a long time since the last update. Many of you may have been wondering where I've been and what happened to all the plans I once had.

    ┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵ ┻━┻
    Basically this.

A lot of things happened in my life. Between university, career, health issues and my other hobbies, I kinda lost interest in Skyrim. Modding became for me a constant source of unsatisfying frustration and a bottomless time sink I could not afford to stay committed to. So I ended up putting the development of this mod on indefinite hold.

But not so long ago I was visited by a magical fairy! It kicked my shin, slapped me across the face and told me to get my lazy butt back to work. Ouchies.

So here I am. I have reinstalled Sk...

  • Will you marry this version 2.5?

Way too long awaited version 2.5 is finally here! With a new coat of paint and lots of shiny shiny shine!

If you remember when I first announced working on it you have better memory than me! ^^

But I hope the wait was worth the wait, or something, I'm too excited to make sense right now! Anyways I hope you have fun and won't find any game breaking bugs minutes after installing! ^^

Or won't report the new features as bugs, that would break my heart!...

  • Coming (back) soon!

Miss Leeches is back to Skyrim and when she isn't saving Tamriel from mudcrabs she's working on the new version of Vampiric Thirst!

Here are some of the features you'll see soon!

    ● Support for MCM configuration provided by SkyUI with a few new customisation options to help you better tailor the mod to your liking!
    ● Entirely reworked blood quality system - the old buggy method was old and buggy, now player develops preferences not for races and genders but for individuals and may gain temporary bonuses based on that person's traits if it's high enough!
Other than being more player friendly it also means 100% fewer script delays, weird feeding bugs and memory bloats thanks to the way the new method is implemented...
