This mod is by far my favorite enb and the colors are gorgeous, but is there a way to turn off the night sky/aurora? It overwrites my Fantasy Nights mod when it didn't used to do that.
I didn't think anyone still downloaded this and used it since the ENB is so old. If you are still having a problem let me know, been a while but I can redownload Skyrim and my ENB for you. Wouldn't take long.
I installed it, and i was amazed, and now after i opened skyrim again, it appears that it isnt working anymore, i uninstalled and reinstalled yet no luck, please help if you can, it would be much appreciated
You need the lastest DirectX runtime to use FXAA. I'll add that to the description, but the new version out soon shouldn't use any extra .dll. I might use SweetFX for some slight sharpening and more saturation but I haven't decided yet.
Hi, I am wondering if I could run this smoothly. I have an i5 at 4.0ghz and gtx 660. Also what options could i tweak on this enb to help performannce? thanks
You should be fine. I'm running an Phenom II X4 955 at 4 Ghz and a GTX 570 SC. Your CPU is significantly better than mine and I believe our GPUs are close in power. How much VRAM does your card have? My GTX 570 starts to almost run out of VRAM using ENB and I have 1.3 GB.
As for tweaking settings the main FPS killers will be SSAO and Depth of Field. I'd try to keep SSAO or Depth of Field on because of image quality but here..
SSAO settings you can tweak: Use ComplexIndirectLighting from true to false Mess around with SamplingRange, SizeScale, and SourceTextureScale. Lowering any of those above settings increases FPS.
You could also edit the SkyLighting and Shadow quality settings and set them to 2. You might gain 1-3 FPS. If you need help understanding any settings in the ini I can try and help.
No problem, if you ever have any other questions just ask me. And you should be more then fine with 2GB of VRAM. I forgot to mention I had a few high resolution texture packs PLUS the ENB so I was hitting almost 1.3GB.
You can go into your main Skyrim folder and edit the enbseries.ini
Set EnableDepthofField from true to false.
Set EnableAmbientOcclusion from true to false or go to the SSAO category and edit: Use ComplexIndirectLighting from true to false Mess around with SamplingRange, SizeScale, and SourceTextureScale. Lowering any of those above settings increases FPS.
SSAO will probably hit you the most, I usually don't play with it on.
It won't load because he has two .dll's in the skyrim folder. I'm having the same problem. And I can't find any instructions anywhere. I'm not sure how it is possible to use both, because if I use the d3d9.dll, then it isn't as pretty, but if I use the other bundled with your download, I don't have sunglare.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say. The ENB d3d9.dll and the d3d9injFX.dll for FXAA work fine together if you have the lastest DirectX runtime. Have you made sure that you have the latest one? It shouldn't be effecting the sunglare.
