Too bad it doesn't work for spells added by other mods. I have a better solution. Just open up showracemenu and then press DONE and you're good to go. At least it works for me, and saves me an esp slot.
It is the same method that I also apply, when this error occurs. I had no idea other people did it the same way as me. It's funny that both occurred to him, but I suppose it is common to come up with the same solutions to a common problem. In my case it is a problem with my screen or the dedicated graphics card: it makes a mini flicker or blackout of one second of the game, but it affects the eyes of my character.
I just came across these glitch, and was freaked out by it thanks for the mod. I hope its okay that it does overwrites some scripts from Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - RDO, since he sad it would be okay, so i don't have to worry about that do i? :D
This mod has worked well for me even using modded spells like Ghostwalk (from EnaiSiaion's Apocalypse mod, IIRC), but I just noticed that I still get the broken eye glitch when using the modded shout "Shroud of Snowfall" which is added by Thunderchild (also an Enai mod). Does anyone know a fix for this? I'll be asking on the Thunderchild page as well, since I don't know which mod is incompatible.
Do you have any mods that add or change invisibility spells/potions that load after this mod? That's the only thing I can think of that could make this mod not work.
Pretty sure this happens even without mods. The ones who notice it most play as Nightingales with the Invisible sneak power (or have 10 followers with invisibility spells). Mods that add character blinking seem to make the bug more apparent as well, but are not the cause.

Edit: it seems to not work on costume eyes
If you have modded eyes it does not work, but, it is still good to have installed.
