I am having difficulty running the Special Edition on my machine and getting the new Creation Kit to work properly. I am also currently attending law school and do not have a lot of free time in which to do the conversions. Porting my work to the Special Edition will be done at my discretion. Do not ask me for an ETA. No one has my permission to port any of my mods to the Special Edition.

You're telling me this gorgeous mod doesn't required Runtime Error $imulator DLC (AKA Dawnguard) to work?

thank you :) after so many reinstallation and other things to do I was able to play as a vampire...but wanted to change my character's hair. I was so disappointed when I found out the Face Sculptor doesn't help if I am a vampire xD instead of curing and sculpting and becoming a vampire again I found your mod and it worked :) I know how showracemenu console command can cause a feed bug ( had it before) so I am thankful for this mod haha

honestly one of the best mods that I could ask for while having a vampire character, the only problem I have (that may or may not be already discussed about), eyebrow types aren't showing up for me. Like all the other options are but I can't change my eyebrows?

Thanks for making this mod I just have one question though how can I get my eyes to stay looking like a vampire's? As soon and I leave the kit my eyes immediately change back to the color they were before I became a vampire. Have I missed something I mean are my eyes supposed to not change? Hope you can give me a clue thanks again this mod is great!

The race menu doesn't work if the player is an unplayable race, like the vampire races. When the player becomes a vampire, their race is changed to an unplayable vampire race duplicate of their normal race. The player's vampiric appearance is handled by overriding their normal head parts. I'd imagine you have a mod that's editing the vampire races and possibly changing the head part overrides.

Just finding this mod now and it's possibly a godsend with the new Skyrim SE seeing as how RaceMenu and the like aren't available for it (at least not yet). Does anyone know if this mod works on Skyrim SE? Or, if the author is still around, will you be porting it to Skyrim SE if it doesn't work as-is?

If you are around to port it, would you be willing to make an alternative version of this mod that either simply gives the player the ability to use this Face Sculptor (via a Power or Shout or something), rather than having to buy a really expensive item from a specific place that has negative side-effects for using it?

I get "Immersion" and all that, but all I want to do is customize my character or be able to try out different mods or hairstyles without having to basically re-make my character again every time like using showracemenu does (since it always screws up a few various sliders), so having a 'free use' option would be awesome.

This mod was created before Dawnguard was released, using the ShowLimitedRaceMenu() command that Dawnguard used but which was available with the 1.6 patch that preceded its release on PC.

If you have the Special Edition, then you could just visit Galathil, an NPC added by Dawnguard who will allow you to change your appearance for a fee.

Ah, I suppose I could just use "showlimitedracemenu" in the console then to achieve the same result.

Edit: not quite, apparently. Just "showlimitedracemenu" or "limitedracemenu" don't do anything when input into the console.

Does this work with Enhanced Character Edit or does it just show as the default creation menu? Looks great btw!

I dunno. If that mod works with the face sculptor from Dawnguard, then it will work with this mod.

Vampire seem to have more than 1 issue, seems to break being able to mine, the mining starts as normal, but doesn't do the 3 hits you get something, seems to be "dead" (no, wasn't a vampire undead joke). If you exit out of the mining for that piece, you can't enable it again, all other pieces also fail the same way.

This has nothing to do with my mod, unless you have some empirical proof...

Was working fine until I used the sculptor book. Chances are, it's a glitch with the command being used to alter the appearance. I also ran into the wrong colored head/body for the vampire. I'll just live with the face war paint, having issues with changing the face mid-game isn't a big issue to warrant things not working. Probably isn't your mod, but most likely a problem with the engine and changing the appearance mid-game, especially for vampires. With Skyrim being out of development and bug free (sarcasm), I don't see it being fixed anytime soon, chances are, only stable method to alter anything on the actor will most likely require SKSE.

No, you should be temporarily reverting back to your non-vampire race to use the sculpting kit. You aren't using a custom race, are you?

True story: A visitor clicks to the mod page, reads through the description thinking, "Gosh, this looks like something as well-written as Prince Shroob would do!" Scrolls up to see author, lets jaw hang open for a sec. :O

I'm not sure why this has only received 41 endorsements!! I wish I could endorse it more than once. This in combination with the Precache Killer mod, you can pop in and out of the editor as often as you want, but you won't lose your makeup settings (as you do with ShowRaceMenu)!! Great mod! Wouldn't want to be without it.
