If you're having CTD problems with this mod, don't install the .esp plugin; the mining mod will work without it. Just install the scripts...
Also, I'm trying to figure out how to cut down on the number of strikes needed before the mod will drop an ore into the inventory. I've looked the script over and modified things and it just doesn't change anything.

open MineOreScript.psc and fin this line:
int Property ResourceCount = 1 Auto
change it to the number of rocks you want
int Property ResourceCount = 10 Auto
save the file
...
profit
i haven't tested it but it ought to work .::QUOTE::
This will give you more ore per strike, but there are other script calls that reduce number of strikes, etc etc. This does work, if you start a new game it will parse the data when loading the first cell. However, if you have already started a game you have to use the console to reload the two scripts.
Un grand merci , enfin une version fonctionnelle !
Greetings.
Big thanks, i 've tried two other similar "not-working mods ... yours is perfect with my "french Skyrim version" ! I've only used 2 of the 3 ".pex" files , without your esp , because i don't use any DLC... there is enought "bugs" without them , no need more ... ;°)
I don't know why your "source" folder is there , i didn't use it without problem . In my "source" folder there is already a lot of files ( probably from the unpacked BSA Skyrim files, but i really cannot remember ... ) .
Now i can take a cup of coffee when my character is mining ... By the way , your script works also with "custom" ore added by custom mods Cool.
I love this mod and it adds to the immersion for me. It may not be realistic to mine the same patch for days on end, however you wont feel the need to stop and mine every single deposit you pass. Before this mod I would go through bleak falls barrow, for example, and because of the mining limitations, I felt the need to stop exploring and mine the iron ore patch with the skeleton. With this installed, I can freely pass it by and when I need ore, I can just go to a mine and make a day of it.
Hello guys. Great mod, but doesn't work anymore for me.. It worked, I didn't play Skyrim for months, then I tried again, I updated most of my main mods (except this one and few others), and the game crashed when I was going to mine. Then I updated here, but now I have a CTD when I launch the game (when I deactivated, I don't have CTD). With Wrye Bash opened, when I activate the mod with mod manager I have a window "missing string localization". After some research (google), it seems people experienced that with Dawnguard because the langage was not the right (I'm french on a french game but there's usually no problem). The line in Wrye Bash is rose too.
So what files does this alter in the Creator? I went looking in the Creation Kit because I wanted to try to tweak the mod for a friend, but I don't think I'm finding where the mod made changes. :/

Cheers, and endorsed of course.
Update : Currently crashes my game though...
Do NOT Merge it with other files (even though Bash suggests that you do)
Place below the Bashed Patch in your load order
Once I did this I was able to mine to my heart's content on non-Stalhrim ores and still exhaust the Stalhrim mines after the scripted 60 hits.
Endorsed.

I miss this mod
