Correct. Hades (Greek), in the Christian faith, is the equivalent of Sheol (Hebrew) which is a temporary gathering place of the souls of the evil dead. It is described in the book of Matthew as being in the heart of the earth. It is the counter-part of Purgatory, the temporary resting place of souls who still have a chance to enter Heaven.

Correction MaidenUSA, Hades (the realm) was the resting place of the common folk, and Tartarus was the restingplace of only the most evil of people. And for everyones intellectual benefit, the "Isle of the Great" as the Greeks called it, was fit for only the most heroic and bravest of the Greeks.
I know this because I am a professor of Greek mythology.(best of luck to the author and his team)
Not here for history lessons and minor corrections ,teacher! And F.Y.I. "hell" has many names in many different cultures. SO, let modders name thier own mods!
I'm putting together a team to work on my Hades mod. For skyrim. The beta is on nexus. I need some one to do lod so you can see objects far away and ill need some one to help me navmesh when its done. And ill need some one to help with. Making a quest when its closer to being done. And also if any body want to make custom weapons with custom fire enchantments like firestorm bow.which I'm trying to make right now that would be cool too

Sorry guys I made a mistake ,I wanted to write Hades is the mythic God of the Underworld not of war...my apologies!(don't be so..cruel with me,hehehe)
and it has nothing to do with Christian Theology(it doesn't exist in Christian religion, don't get confused!)...yes we may sometimes say "Hades" (for example if we want to revile someone instead of telling him "go to hell" we could say "go to Hades" ...) now days but seriously its just "urban" talking, nothing else but one God of the Greek Mythology. Don't mix religion of Christians with Greek Mythology.

That's all.
No. Ares is the God of War.
You obviously don't know everything there is to know about Hades outside your video game, lmao.
