I have found one problem though, when telling my follower to do something there is something at the bottom right corner that's bright green and says "text" and it remains there until the follower finishes the action
another masterpiece, love the new sneak icon feature...was getting sick of seeing that big eyeball in the middle of my screen, everything is very subtle now. thanks, endorsed!
This is an amazing mod. I only have on gripe with it. Everything is just a tad too small. Are there any options I could change to make it about halfway between this and vanilla size? And if not, would it be too much trouble to request something like that? Everything else is amazing. I absolutely love the new placements, compass and sneak options. Either way, I'm endorsing this and will be using it from here on out. Great job.
Hey Grom, the manager install doesn't work for me either. I had to do it manually.
What I did was I opened the .rar (Less intrusive Hud v105 -Alternative sneak- Vanila and Fertigo-234822-1-05.rar)
Inside are 4 more rar's. They are the Fertigo or Futura fonts, and you can pick loose or bsa versions.
For some reason bsa versions I couldn't get in the right spot either, so I opened the loose version rar. Inside that is a folder called 'interface' inside that is 4 files, cheboygan.swf, fontconfig.txt, fonts_en2.swf, and hudmenu.swf
I opened my Skyrim files, for me it's <drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Interface
Then I simply copied/pasted the unpacked four files from the rar into that location.
Now it's working for me. So much easier than fussing with the bsa/esp files really.
Don't mean to be condescending, but I also found the double-packed and installation instructions really hard to understand, it took help from another player and a lot of frustration for me to figure it out because of all the different versions but loose install copy/paste direct to your data/interface folder really works best in my opinion.
I too get the objectives as squares (unprintable characters). I isolated it to this mod, specifically and even took a screenshot. The text should be "Press [E] to open containers."
This screenshot is from v105 - Alternate Sneak, Futura loose files. When using the Fertigo loose files, the text appears as "Press [Activate] to open containers." It's offset from center, basically where the screenshot shows the unprintable characters. Unfortunately, I do not like this font, so it isn't a workaround.
The problem is with both the loose files and the esp/bsa file. Specifically, the file that causes the problem is hudmenu.swf.
