dont know if this has been reported yet but for some reason LC castle invasion removes the gates on the college of winterhold and therefor bugs the college questline at 2 spots in it as the gates are gone and therefor makes 2 quests in that questline not able too be completed for some reason
Anyone know where the second lever is for the castle entrance? There's one if I head towards the walls-past a bunch of tents and a couple of fires, turn left to run along the wall, which circles back towards where you enter. One lever is at a tower here. The other I can't find. I got this mod years ago and I don't remember this issue. I thought the second was immediately to the left here up the stairs, but I see nothing...
Eventually found my way back there by accident. Not only are the soldiers you are fighting a cut above, the archers there are like snipers! These aren't Whiterun guards and bandits with bows. Get ready for your followers to get mowed down, unless you have like 4-5 of them. Calling in a dragon drop in the courtyard helps. I was calling demons and they were being killed in 10 seconds! This Place Is No Joke.
i have found something that would be adviseable too look into
having the mod installed breaks the college of vinterholds questline since it removes the gates in the college both outside and inside so 2 quests gets bugged and cant be done 1. is containment that cant be started at all and the second is the eye of magnus no idea why those quests gets bugged when the gates is gone but it does i even tested it out on my own end so i know which too disable too do the quests
I can verify this problem. I play the mage quest before LC_CastleInvasion and everything was smooth... After installing this mod i had the same problems as it is writed in this post. After disabling this mod i was able to proceed in the quest again...
I am aware this comment is one and a half years old now, but to anyone else reading this: I recommend uninstalling after beating it, not just this mod, all mods of it's kind, unless they add something you want to keep for your entire play through. Try and run it without cleaning first, if that doesn't work, clean it. I like new content as much as everyone else, but keeping to many large mods like this installed can only lead to problems on the long run. I usually make a save just before installing such mods, beat the new quests/dungeons or what ever, uninstall them and carry on with my business from there. You can always reinstall. This way you can beat all the quest mods that you like, if they're stable enough on your system. I don't mean to offend the author of this, I keep quite a few mods active just because I like a item they add, or creature/companion, I'm just saying this because there are a lot of people out there that know close to nothing about modding and such comments could make them not use a mod. Mod your game to the point you feel it's stable enough to enjoy it and throw in an adventure mod such as this one every once in a while to spice things up.
