Well im sorry to hear that it didnt work , sounds like u would have really liked my mod ! Like u said The DLC Quest is truly horrible , long , depressing , hard as hell and totally not fun trust me ! But i think they forgot to tell users that dawnguard itself acts as a patch too and fixes some things . Perhaps u can obtain it in a non - regular way if u know what i mean ? It was definitely not worth paying for it . All that struggle for 3 scrolls and whole caves of swarming enemies just to get a shitty bow and kill some vampire , pff . Not to mention vampire lord main power doesnt work with the forced follower that u have to do the entire quest with ! Although i fixed it like i fixed tons of other things in this mod "> so i think u should get Dawnguard because of the extra benefits it offers and new vanilla features and fixes , but u r right , that doesnt mean u should pay for an incomplete game ! See if u can find some way to get it ! After all i got tired 2 waiting for bugthesda to fix their game , and they will never be able to do so , because this game was seriously flawed since the beginning , each new patch fixes smth but introduces new bugs . so that why i build my mod with some extra changes , to make this game from pathetic to somewhat worthy . It has been an nightmare though , even the creation kit is a wreck . Lets hope for better work in the future .

Well, I got it downloaded but game will not run with it installed because Dawnguard is a required master. I have hestitated to get Dawnguard for a couple of reasons. First, it absolutely does not sound like fun to me. Second, I hestitate to send any more money Bethesda's way until some of the glaring bugs in the basic game are fixed. It is certainly not a question of whether I can afford it.
I will give it a try. At the moment Nexus will not let me download it either through manager or manually. I get the message about it being a newly uploaded file. I will try later and report back.
@ Thenryb it should work fine . I only change general values . You should even get the crafted arrows since ive done some tweaks on them . However this file is build with the parent master of dawnguard too , so your launcher may not recognize it correctly . Anyway just open skyrim launcher and since you dont have dawnguard , or supposedly other ovehaul mods , tick it and play . if you do have other mods , simply load it in the very end ! TRY IT AND THEN COMMENT IF IT DID OR DID NOT WORK ! See if arrows are craftable , that should show it ! Or weapon speed , crafting menu , racial powers , etc . Sorry about the late response but ive been really busy myself just about to make some big changes . Dawnguard is worthless as a quest but it did have some fixes . If u are interested perhaps i can find a way for u to get it too !
I was curious whether this mod requires Dawnguard (which I do not have or intend to get), and where it should be placed in the load order. I really like the sound of the described changes.
