Hearthfire lets you get sawn logs for your homesteads once you've become friends with any sawmill owner, but I was also getting 10-20 firewood in my inventory everytime an NPC used the sawmill near me...annoying and buggy, sometimes causes lag or crashes when the firewood is added.
I am removing this mod from SkyrimGEMS because people are reporting that it does not work with Skyrim 1.8+. If this mod DOES work with Skyrim 1.9, please contact [email protected] and let me know so I can add it back to the GEMS list. Thanks.
I do not know what you people are talking about. I have legendary edition all dlc and used this mod with millwater retreat and made wood all day long for 9 months. I never had any issue getting wood for my hearthfire homes. No crazy npcs adding wood randomly to my inventory. You people are nit picking something. The only thing I can think of is that my sawmill at millwater retreat wasn't a base vanilla sawmill but, it was a sawmill albeit added by a mod. I never had any issue ordering wood for my homes from that mill over in falkreath (I forget its name) Check your loadouts for conlicts I guess.
Was a very good mod until Hearthfires. Thank you. I enjoyed this mod till then.
Now the DLC gives you logs and puts them at your homestead. If you could upgrade the mod, or if there is one that will allow access 24/7 that will be great, because with the DLC, you have to ask for permission, then they'll let you use it, but if theyr'e not there (just left for home for the evening), it will not add any logs to your stash.
Constantly adding 10 firewood to my inventory for no reason as I walk around. Constant CTD when it attempts to add said 10 firewood.
When I cut logs nothing happens.
This mod is wack, needs to be updated.
EDIT: I've noted now that the 10 firewood is added when the shopkeeper/mill owner cuts a log - so long as I'm within a certain proximity. It still brings dreadful CTDs and the hearthfire issue with the lumber is a dealbreaker.
I'm requesting the description for this mod be updated to warn players that it's incompatible with the DLC.

Good mod otherwise, I used it before getting DLC
Was just thinking about whether it'll conflict with that.
