You missed all the lore refences and the possible dadric infulences present in lore and in game. The FINAL REPORT TO TREBONIUS is the best to get a idea of what is needed to bring back the dwemer.

Im playing a dwarf now and the first person view doesnt line up right with the reduced height.

This mod works well in conjuction with the Dwarven Powerarmor, Dwemer Exoskeleton, Dwarven Rifle (not really a rifle), Dwarven Buster, and Azeal's Castle.

Yeah the height is more of a bug from skyrim, I think mods exist that fix this.

Tentain, you seem to forget something, the dwarves in Morrowind were from the eastern tribes, where as the dwemer in Skyrim are of the NORTHERN tribes, they're armors and way of life wasn't identical, kinda like the people of Cyrodil don't live the same way as the people of Skyrim.

This (for me atleast) disables all the Blacksmith Vendor dialogue in all Skyrim so I had to deactivate it.

@Nikolai508 It is possible for a group of dwarves to have not accended into, wherever it is they went (probably another plane of existence), If I recall in Morrowind there was one who didn't leave (and also had a rather bad case of corprus which is why he didn't die of old age). For example, if a group of dwemer all came down with a case of Vampirism..

It's made of Dwarven metal, hence dwarven armor is its name. On a related note, A few hundred years back they looked like http://i.imgur.com/GnDDf.png http://i.imgur.com/KaLc1.jpg and their warriors looked a bit like http://i.imgur.com/nHfTL.jpg Saying "Why is it called dawrven armor" is like saying why is Dwarven armor in Daggerfall, morrowind, or oblivion called dwarven armor.Although, in this case, I believe the "Dwarven Armor" actually is Dwarven Armor. There are references to the craftmanship being superb, and it could just be localized in the Skyrim area, if you'll notice you'll occasionally find the Dwarven Armor in long unexplored Dwarven Ruins.
Also judging from the screenshots, they generally seemed to have their automatons deactivated most of the time, and not just stomping about. Also "Deep Elves", people have said down the comments that you didn't make the dwemer elves.

Anywho, it's a nice mod idea although could be a bit more accurate.

In the world of Eldr Scrolls, Dwemer (aka dwarves) are a type of elf.
More information on this can be found in the books on Dwemer found throughout the game.

For those that don't know, Blackreach is the large underground area where you go for the crimson nirnroot quest, and find the ElderScroll.
