I think this idea is a good idea. They dog is gratefull that you did not kill him, and that he got his place back next to his old owner. But he promised the old owner: "Don't worry. I'll make sure he sees the light. I trusted you, now you trust me." So he becomes a shadow / ghost and walk with the Dovakiin to see the light.
100 Sec will be a summon. 21900 Seconds is staying Barbas with you like a normal dog. Of course he wants sometimes back to his old owner. So you have to activate the spell again to show him that you need him to.
You'll still need to Disable then Enable it. Otherwise, I'm afraid I don't know what is wrong. :\ If you've been using Nexus Mod Manager to install the mod, you could try doing it without, but I don't think that'll make any difference.

If you've been using Nexus Mod Manager to install the mod, you could try doing it without, but I don't think that'll make any difference.
Did you definitely do it right?
Remember that this is a spell added by the Masque, not a constant effect of it.
