For anyone who wants to convert this mod to the latest version of SSE. Here is a simple guide: 1. Follow the former half of this instructions(Porting Skyrim mods to Skyrim Special Edition - Nexus Mods Wiki), which tells you to load the .esp in CK, choose Weapon on the side bar, change a value (such as the price of the crossbow) back & forth and save the .esp file. You should see a lot of warnings when you load the file, just click yes until it's done. 2. Download SSE NIF Optimizer at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) and execute this exe. Set the directory to where the 3 .nif files (dragonbonecrossbow, dragonbonebolt and dragonboneboltprojectile) are and convert them. You should see a text report telling you the changes are done and saved. 3. Enjoy your new crossbow!
On the side note, I don't know if it's because my Orc is not a skilled archer, the projectile seems to be a bit off to the right, but it matters little if you use exploding bolts.
So, even with the optional No Skull installed along with the main mod, I'm still getting the one with the skull. How do I make it work? I must've installed this thing wrong.
I really had to ask, its so awesome! Do you have any plans to bring it to SSE on Xbox? If you don't feel like doing it yourself, with your permission I could port it for you and credit you in the title and everything of course.
If not, I can respect that. Either way nice work and thanks for hearing me out.
