I play on SE, works fine so far. But Gunmar and Sorine won't sell wares. Any idea what might be wrong?

For those who accidentally finished the Prophet quest while joining the vampires, dont worry.
You can rejoin the Dawnguard normally. Follow these steps :

    1. Run the script. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22279/?tab=posts
    2. Make sure you are not in Fort Dawnguard
    3. Type in console 'player.addtofaction 02003375 1' - make the Dawnguard faction not hostile towards you
    4. Remove Serana from your party
    5. Go to Isran to do the quest

If you have problem recruiting Sorine (no joining dialogue - due to you being a vampire) , use this command : 'setstage DLC1HunterBaseIntro 40' - Sorine will join you

Optional : Bolstering the Ranks quest might not show up when you talk to Sorine after returning with Dexion Evicus (Moth Priest), type in console : 'setstage DLC1HunterBaseStage2 10'

There will be two Prophet quest in your journal book after you have finished the Dawnguard's Prophet but that will not affect gameplay
If you want to remove one of them, find some mod that will do that for you

So far this is working well for SSE. I ran it after the Bloodstone Chalice quest was active. But my character had not spoken to Garan Marethi yet. Recruiting of Gunmar and Sorine went smoothly. My character passed Isran's vampire test but is still a vampire (a different mod). I've now started Prophet with no glitches. The message in Better Vampires shows the Dawnguard are allies and the Vampire Lords are enemies. It seems everything is as it should be.

I like playing as a vampire. But I don't like the Volkihar clan...at all. Endorsed. And thanks.

So wait is this only for Vampire to Dawnguard? Or can it work in the opposite also?

If you add this to the end of your bat file, it should add you to the Dawnguard faction and remove you from the Vampire Faction (thus making the Dawnguard your allies, and the Vampire Faction your enemies).

    player.addtofaction 02003375 1

I only happened to stumble on this mod since I was curious if it was possible to change after completing the Bloodstone Chalice so it was available to use even after doing the Dawnguard side. It would seem that if you complete that quest you get put into hated with the Dawnguard regardless of the rest of the bat file, so the above bit is necessary to change sides factionally.

Once that's done though everything for the most part is ok. Only problem I had is Sorine for some reason was broken and wouldn't join the Dawnguard or even start the dialogue, but it was easily fixed with the console to nudge her past that.

If you do as I did and change once starting "Prophet" you'll have two copies of it in your log. The vampire side will (or should) remove itself once you complete the Dawnguard side. The best time to change sides is probably before Harkon gives his speech, as Serana will ambush you and auto join your party, which I have no idea how broken everything would become if she does. I suspect that is the last chance you have to do it somewhat cleanly because of her.

Hey thanks for this! I was on prophet and wanted to switch sides after finding the ring of the erudite (so stupid that it's locked behind the evil path) and your tip saved my game!

Oh nice! So far it's working well.
I had accepted Harkens curse to give that side of the DLC another go, then did a bunch of other skyrimy things. 40+ hrs of gameplay later I remembered why I hated being a vampire, wanted to switch without losing progress in other events, thus I found your mod/script. I cleared the skooma den already but hadn't returned to the castle.
So in the effort to remain focused on clearing the PCs good name I COC'ed to morthal, grabbed falien and got rid of my weak crap-lousy transformation and all the other knee capping stuff with being a vampire.
Then COC'ed to dragonbridge and made my way to the vampire castle. When in to the castle, robbed the place blind (everything above 50g/55g was marked as stealing, where as once prophet starts everything is free). I did NOT return the chalice cause I did not want to risk any RelationshpRank increases, or getting stuck with a journal entry/Quest marker.
Opened console "bat ChangeSides", Got the quest prompts that chalice was completed, and "new order" had begun.

Then I COC'ed to "Lost prospect mine" since I had a mess of followers and wanted a little bit of a walk before moving into the dawngaurd cell. Once I left The Mine and entered into the Rift I almost immediately had a crazed(and naked) male farmer charged at me screaming "oh no" and attacked. A follower dispatched him, his wife was already dead and I've no idea why. So I figured that everyone is thinking I'm a vamp and figured I'd give the AI more time, so I killed some near by bandits and vampires, a bear and some wolves. Than went to fort dawnguard to see what happens.
Got to the fort, they were under a minor attack, as they were supposed to be. None of the dawnguard NPC had a problem with me and Isran just gave me the quests to get juard and gunmar. ^_^
And thats where I'm at now. Seems to have done the trick and will update if any oddities show up later, but I'm quite pleased so far and positive going forward.

    Anywho Cheers and Thanks!

    :Edit 1 update:
Gunmar was no problem. Killed some bears for him and he's apparently merrily making his way to Fort Dawnguard via the stealthiest means at his disposal (he's sneaking all the way there from mothal -_-.

Sornie on the other hand, is not going so smoothly. Can't give her her gyros and the overall introduction with her seems outta wack. Trying to figure out how to realign her now, with not a whole bunch of luck with the googles so far. Probably steams from my whoopsie daisy with the vamps and attempt to fix, but not entirely certain. Anyways, gonna plug away at it for now. bbl.

    :Edit 2 update:
Okay wasn't able to get her dialogue to to come up, but did get around it by using "set DLC1HunterBaseIntro 30 1" in console, which just flags Sorine as recruited to the dawnguard rather than having the dialogue branches with her do it.
Went back to the fort and both Sorine and Gunmar where there, they both hung around and started eating/sleeping and working. Was able to buy/sell to them.

May or may not require manual setting of other stages on a per person bases, so use "sqs DLC1HunterBaseIntro" to what the state of the various stages are like in your game, and goto http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:A_New_Order to see how they fit in with your situation or attempt to fix/circumvent issues.

    :Edit 3 Update:
Also had issues with Floentius. Dialogue would not initiate. SetStage DLC1HunterBaseStage2 200 completes and forces florentius to join up with the dawnguard. Upon returning to the fort He was not there, but he may not have had enough time to arrive. Regardless, Prid <florentius ID> moveto player, and I was back in business. could now communicate with him and his presence persisted within the fort.
Now, to be frank I've meet up with florentius in 3 different plays: vanilla, another modded run and now. None of them went correctly so this I was expecting, though they were all different sorts of issues. (ahh skyrim, what can ya do huh)

Really finding it odd though that Gunmar's was the only one to have gone smoothly when the other 2 were obviously hung up on the PCs original choice to try out harkons vampire "gift".

Hey, I can understand if this might all be dead but it's worth a shot.

I've always wanted to redo the entire Dawnguard quest from start after completing it, curing my Vapirism, and becoming a Wolf again, I've entered the "bat changesides" command and it's happily reset the quest for me to meet Isran but all they do is attack me, and I've tried everything from; Disable/Enable, Nocombat, addtofaction, nothing works at all, and when I entered what you suggested "player.addtofaction 02003375 1", it comes up with - "item '02003375' not found for parameter faction.
    Compiled script not saved!"

Please, I really wish to restart the quest and attack the Vampires and hire an Armoured troll! So if you do recieve this, or if anyone does and knows a good solid fix, please, do let me know!

    Thank you.

Jesus I am like 10K years behind on updating this..
On the various bugs Chalybion talks about: if you find they are not wanting to stay try clicking on them and disabling then enabling them to make the AI catch up. I will check the construction kit, if I still have it, to see if they have two versions on them but beyond that(and I am sorry about this) I am not digging through the particular variables on each character haha.

Sorloth or people in his situation: You are going to want to change the instances of Vampire to VampireHunters or whatever relates to the dawngaurd in the script, I'm not digging that variable out as I don't play the game anymore.

StrikerLP or anyone who wants to run both: It is probably technically possible a poster below suggests running player.addtofaction 02003375 1 along with the various commands, don't know if it works as I never saw that faction ID when I played the game.

Going to officially say I am not supporting this anymore(beyond checking into the two version of characters as I said above)
Overall I think most people get the idea and are able to get this to work from whatever point they are on; while I am terrible about service to this at least it is serving as a jumping off point(and I did a lot of the digging through those global vars for ya haha) to work for your individual needs.

Can you PLEEEEEEEEEASE respond to one last request and find out a way to fix the fact that the dude who you have to speak to 'Israel" or something, is hostile towards you after I entered in "bat changesides".

I have already completed Dawnguard, chose Vampire originally, cured myself, and became a werewolf once more, and after all this they're just always hostile.

Please, let me know how I am able to fix this at all ;(
