the steps for installing this arent complete, arvak just looks like a mess of pixels. I got this mod to work a while ago but more details on this process would be great.
Anyone out there able to tweak this a bit? It'd be nice if each colour option were separate summons altogether, so we don't have to go in and manually change the colours. I like having multiple coloured Arvaks for various characters, but it involves changing it each time I hop onto another character.
Why can't you just use NMM? I don't like Macs, I don't use a Mac, but if someone else uses a Mac for modding, I can't get that mod because it's an .rar file.
I shall not get it to work I'm doing something wrong in trying to put a color Arvak is all well # # # # like flaps (fragments). The flames worked perfectly. I tried with two different colors and they were all with the same effect .. type a Mozaico.
I discontinued this awhile back after Dawnguard Rewritten: Arvak was created as it does a much better job of improving our favorite undead steed and adds a skeletal white version so go check out that beauty
I know a lot of people want to see a more natural bone look for Arvak however this requires a brand new texture as the native texture is naturally a dark blue. Unfortunately I'm not great at doing that kinda thing seeing as the current textures I'm using could've been made by a monkey with a typewriter they're so simple. Regardless Im not scrapping that idea but it'll take awhile.
I apologize for taking awhile to update the flames but we're having problems isolating where the purple comes from. Once we've got the flames figured out I'll add a new file with more colors, matching flames for each, and better screens. In the meantime feel free to add criticism and requests for colors you'd like to see soon.

@Tj_Nightbringer bone white is a problem as the native texture is really dark blue with black but once I figure it out I'll put one up. Seems like one of the more popular requests.
