I try not to complain but you gave no location of the bow. When I finally found out where (Dragonfire cave north of Morthal) the area was bugged and I couldn't get bolts. Attempted to craft the bolts and that does not work either. Nice bow bad service.
Hmmm... Your mod is pretty buggy... I launched Skyrim, and there was no main menu. Only the logo, but no options. Then I tried to deactivate the mod, and NMM crashed. I tried again, and it crashed. What is wrong...?
Honestly it sounds like you installed it wrong, but if you're using NMM then I don't see how you could. I haven't had any crashes with it so far, so try exploring things that could be interfering with it.

I found dragonfire bolts in the steel section but I can't find the crossbow :/
For those who cant find the crossbow, make sure you download both files (V1 and V2), install and activate both of them in your load list. I also had this issue but now its working properly. You can find the dragonfire cave at the top left on your map.
