I would like to ask your permission to use the small flame animations in your "rounded lanterns" mod in a new release of my stained glass lanterns mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73852/?).
They are simpler and more compatible with other lighting than the ones I am currently using, and will make it easy for me to have the lanterns sway in the wind.
Please let me know if this is OK, and thanks for your help (and all the amazing work you've done! )
Hello Manny, could you do a version without candle ? So we can use it with wearable lanterns for example. Need to remesh the "candlelantern01.nif" but I've no clue. Would be great !! Please.
First nice to hear you work on new stuff. Use almost all of yours. Second I removed the candles inside the lantern but it needs more to be compatible with Wearable Lanterns. Well, now I've different lanterns in game, not so bad. But always loved your rounded lanterns. Much more beautiful. Dunno why Chesko and others don't make it compatible with a patch and why RL has so less Endorsements. Well. Peace !!
Good Morning Manny, I love all your mods and recently reloaded the rounded lanterns option. Only thing is, the rounded lanterns have no texture - just pixilated colours. I tried both the Loose and full versions of this mod. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
It's surely an issue with texture compression. I made this mod when I was a n00b about the textures ^_^ Please use the texture optimizer to fix that. You can find it on the Nexus.
I like the look of this lantern, but something about a completely rusted texture really irks me. I wouldn't put my hands on it. Let alone carrying one around. Do you by chance get a few choices in color/texture?
I am not asking for red blue green stuff, but it would look a lot more interesting if it can be made of iron, wood, or whatever the Nords would make lanterns out of. See this as a suggestion.
Actually, a rusted lantern makes perfect sense for the outdoor lanterns that have been left out in the harsh elements for maker knows how long. Though I would like to see a cleaner, less rusted version for lanterns that are indoors.

Actually I'm working on a mod, so maybe I'll do it in next time. Meanwhile you can try to use Nifskope tool if you want.
