   It has been improved to make it the best armour in the game, as currently Daedric is the best, so Daedric would be able to be improved higher than Dragonplate, and I wanted Dragonplate to be the best, to go alongside the dragonbone weapons which are the best.

   Not to be a critic, but dragonplate can easily be smithed to the armor cap of 567, and therefore does not need an improvement of its base armor value.
