for some reason the spells are indeed lighter but the lighting of the spells are the same as the vanilla lighting. i actually expected them to give off light with them. maybe an idea to work on :3 would be really awesome anytime in the game. then you can just equip a spell and it works basiclly as a torch.

in the meantime, do you know a mod which changes the lighting of a spell?

I use realistic lighting with customization. As for sunlight separation, I will do it soon. The spell is found normally on mage vendors (I use Farengar myself).

Mage staff that gives off lighting is an interesting concept. I will look into it.

In any case, I plan to give lights to atronachs (especially flame) since well, they should give off lights shouldn't they?

Great idea. Tried it out and definitely better than standard spell light with Climates of Tamerial. I was thinking of something like this for a candlelight staff earlier today. Any plans to add it to a staff or just bind the light constantly to a staff, kinda like a mage light torch? Couldn't find the new spell though, is it added automatically or purchased from a vendor? Anyway great tweak. Thanks and endorsed.
