maybe this was asked, idk , when I am not in battle stance ( weapons not equiped in hand ) for example when dismounting from a horse. If I hit one of my hot keyed spells that would "autocast and re-equip last " I don't cast it just equips , kinda gets me in trouble when qucickly needed if a combat stuation occurs suddenly . another example is i have my shield and sword in hands but im not readied , I will hit the hot key it equips the spell in my left hand as it was set , fails to cast then re equips my shield, each step followed correctly , the spell just did not fire ? If I am in a ready stance all works fine , spells fire and re equip last ? Not complaining , just asking if this is even possible to fix or do I just need to learn how to adapt and work around that ? Maybe its not even broke and this is just how the game handles it Let me know either way
aah, cool mate! yesterday in drunken stupor i decided to write me own uber fast simple and neat hotkeys and im already done with handler and started on dispatcher! so good timing, i assume you released the code so ill be able to look into it when i run into any walls
@DavidAndGoliath - Try holding it down for just a second. And make sure your not using numpad enter. I'll try to make it more responsive.
@Mrhunter33 - As dmartinkovics said. I can't help it right now. It only happens to user enchanted armor, so other armor is okay. I'm working on a workaround.
The problem is a shortcoming of papyrus/SKSE. Spinner said when he finds out how to fix it, (or SKSE will be able to handle the problem) he will. Until that, one must rely on either hand equipping, or unenchanted sets.
@Spinner385: I guess you should probably add a small SKSE test at start (with a call to a basic function): if a player cast the hotkeys spell and skse is not responding, then you show a warning. (however, maybe it's already in ^^)
