@Shagreth : i think Kospy rebuilt his mod with the CK when it came out - anyway the BartioRatioXX.esp is clean, and it contains only two edits, don't worry about it.
I wonder how close it is to the < High > setting of HBE.
High - At 0 skill, buying is multiplied by 9, and selling is divided by 9. At 100 skill, buying is multiplied by 6, and selling is divided by 6.
I really liked the numbers there, it was pretty hardcore, but since these ESPs were compiled with tesvsnip - I'd rather avoid them. Too tired to do the math, I am off to sleep for now, hopefully your mod will be 'Hardcore' enough! If not, would it be too much to ask for an ever harsher version of your mod? Please don't hurt me, merely asking. ^^
I'm really enjoying this. It makes life harder, but in a good way. I use an Expensive Carriages mod as well. Money is actually worth something now. To buy a house takes hard work in the early game. The beauty of it is that if I invest in Speechcraft to get good prices it makes that aspect of the game just as easy as it could be in the Vanilla game. The difference being I actually have to work for it. After all, why shouldn't I get ripped off if my Speech Skill is only 5?
That's exactly the way I play anyway. No stripping every dead guy bare, just the small valuables I could realistically carry. Still haven't got to trying this (lots of RL stuff going on lately), but considering how quick I was getting gold whilst using SSS this will be a much needed balancer.
The way I play with this is basically only sell the loot that is valuable (enchanted items, rings...), and even so, I'm having no money problems, but neither I am rich, quests really give lots of money.
After playing a bit with my mod I'm thinking on trying to make the xp you get for selling a bit higher (no idea if that is possible), but the mod you suggest (btw your link is incorrect) seems interesting.
Sounds like an interesting idea. It would make things a bit trickier at early levels, especially as I use Skyrim Scaling Stopper, so expensive loot is more prevalent early in the game. Plus it actually makes Speech worth a damn.

Also this mod is easy to modify so, if someone wants another version just ask, although I am not very active due to GW2 lol.
