I've never used the Creation Kit, so I would appreciate any additional detail you could provide.

The easiest way to edit the custom enchantments is to open the mod the enchantment came in in the Creation kit, find the enchantment and set the cost to 0 or whatever cost you want.
let me know if u need it more detailed. if so, then ill edit this post.
    ------
Open creation kit > click open > select the mod then click on "set file as active file" + the master file it uses.
if you select the mod you want to open it will say on the right side which master file that need to be activated ( skyrim.esm, update.esm and dawnguard.esm or heartfire.esm ) at least skyrim.esm and more depending on what it says.

you need the name on the enchantment so that you can find it. either do that by finding the name in game in skyrim or on the mod page by the creator of that particular mod.

Click "yes" on all warning messages that appear. dont mind them. once the mod is loaded/open you can do 2 things:

    1) there will be 3 windows opening, the one named "object window". there will be a list in that window and at the bottom it will be one that says "All". click on All, then you might have to wait a little. then type in the enchantment name into the filter at the top left corner of the object window. then everything with the name will appear.

    2) the other thing you can do is to select magic > enchantment, then either look for the enchantment you want to edit in the list or write the name of it in the filter.

you will also need to look for the enchantment in magic > magic effect. this is due to the fact that the enchantment uses magic effect when its used. this one needs to be edited teh same way.

this applies to both, once you have found the enchantment you double click on it, then a window appears.
it is possible that the "auto-calc" have a V (is checked), uncheck it and you will be able to write whatever values you want in the box named "enchantment cost". 0 enchantment cost = unlimited charges, last forever.

Given that there are way too many custom modded enchantments out there for you to possibly cover them all, how would one go about adding a custom modded enchantment themselves so that it would work with this mod? You mentioned in another reply that it was easy to do, just time consuming because the vanilla list is so long, so I'm hoping that adding just one will be within my (admittedly limited) skill set.

You turn on .esm files the same way you turn on normal mods. The .esm files is at the top of the mod list. named Skyrim.esm, update.esm, dawnguard.esm. , these is the main .esm files that need to be turned on. most likely you have one or more turned off.

    Still crashing.

I have several other working mods (it is last on the load list).

How do I "turn on all .esm mods"?

@kwikluck, sounds like there is something wrong on your end, and not my mods. + your the only one who have ever had this kind of problem.

Are you sure you have turned on all the .esm mods ??? pretty sure you have not done that.

VOID --- had steam verify files.

This is the error message I'm getting. Help please [Can't find "warning.txt" files]

"MasterMismatchWarning=One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information."

    P.S. Used Mod Manager

@Neetox, ill take a look at it on Wednesday when im not so busy.

EDIT: Im not able to see any problems with soul trap. as far as I can see it works just fine =(
If you have other mods that edit soul trap enchantments it might create some problems and work just fine if you turn off one of the mods.

I'm not sure if this is a bug for anyone but I have a bow enchanted with Soul Trap as well as Health Drain and it seems the the Soul Trap doesn't work with this mod. I have Soul Trap set to 1 second after death, so could that be why? As soon as I turn the mod off I can soul trap like normal, again.
