As the author of RZL - Lydia Tweaks I do have to mention that she is supposed to be rather pale. Could it be that you have some mod that overwrites her skin texture?
I uploaded a screenshot of Lydia's appearance but I didn't know how to put it so people can see it from the mod's page. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/125585 The description I put under the picture pretty much sums up how i feel about it. She does a better job of not making you detected while sneaking, the example I put was that when i missed my arrow shot she attacked with her bow and arrow instead of regularly running out to melee attack. She can also heal herself with the basic healing spell that you start out with.

If you have either file, please delete it. Loose files overwrite files contained within bsa archives.
