This is really nice, but... optimization, umm, there isn't any. I'm on a 4th gen i7 and I get FPS issues the moment the map icon appears. A little closer and I can get as little as 5 FPS whenever I'm looking in the general direction of the place.
Tested this today. Liked the design of the place and attention to detail, would like to use as my permanent home, however, there are a few things which prevent me from doing so: Nick's previous comment about the performance impact was not overstated. When I stand next to the house and look away, I get 60fps, if I turn to face the house, it literally drops to an unplayable 10fps. This is really a deal breaker. Not sure what causes it (maybe it's just the number if items placed on the outdoors terraces), but it's really problematic. One more thing - the entrance under the waterfall is right behind a raging torrent - not sure it it's related to some mods I use, but it's actually impossible to reach the entrance without turning collision off - I get washed downstream all the time. I'll have a look at your second housing mod. A pity though - I wanted to have a house in the Markarth region - not a lot of choices there.
I really love this mod. But why is it so performance hungry? Everything runs smooth with my mods and ENB, but as soon as i get near the Cascades, my FPS drops to around 10. When I'm inside the compound (e.g. standing on the bridge in the middle), it gets better, but still not optimal. Of all the player homes i tried, this is by far the best, and i really would love to use it, but i need to get it to run smoothly.
Also when I open some of the interior doors, all the stuff starts to just fly around.
Wow, all of your mods are great! but I am little bit feel not enough to this mod. If you put some more dwemer things such as centurions or other dwemerlic stuffs (moving engins, pipes or robot guards) It would better than before.
It's a shame this this didn't get more attention, what a great player home. The attention to detail and the layout is really something else. I I first downloaded the Eagle's Nest and liked it so much that I had to check this out as well. I'm glad I did as this is just what I've been looking for.
Danke für das mod*. It's a nice, roomy castle of a house. Lots of room for the guards and other folks that live there as well as room for your followers to join you. Plenty of cooking and dining areas, lots of beds. A couple of smithing areas as well as enchanting and alchemy tables. Lots of ale and mead to keep folks happy while they're lolling around. I love that the entrance is behind a waterfall. I've been checking behind every waterfall I come across in the game since day one. I just couldn't believe that Bethesda didn't make use of at least a few of them for hidden mines and bandit caves. I'm glad that someone finally did so. It's fun to have something hidden behind a waterfall. Thanks for all the hard work that you put into this mod and for sharing it with everyone. Endorsed.
*I think (hope) that means "thank you for this mod."

Ich "cleane" meinen Krempel jedenfalls oft und gerne :-)
Und jetzt noch vielen Dank für deine wunderschöne Modifikation und deren englische Version. Hoffentlich sieht bei mir das Wasser auch so schön schäumend aus. Endorsed !
I'm kinda scoping some things out for a future playthru, and this is probably making the list
I do have a general question tho. One of the other beautiful house mods I was monitoring was unfortunately constructed with some brutal means—like using global edits to vanilla objects for placement that affected every object of that type in the game. The discovery made me kinda paranoid, so I have to ask: Has anyone noticed anything wonky like that for Wassersturz, or is it pretty clean? Seems like such a huge undertaking, I would understand if some things cropped up in design.
Otherwise I'm looking forward to using this!
EDIT: lmao glad I'm taking a long break from Skyrim here—hope someone can reassure me about this so I can use by the time I get back ^_^

Vielleicht könnte das noch behoben werden? Danke!
So viel ich weiss, sind es keine gravierenden Fehler. Bei Zeiten werde ich mich darum kümmern.
