If your using a script to open the menu try using the utility.wait command so the script will halt allowing the book to open for a designated time span.
Another good idea from our incredible Nexus modders. I like the thought that not only can you get more people in and around the houses (anywhere), but this NPC also has another purpose. It gets lonely being the only know Dragonborn. Who better to embellish our stories of our grand and glorius journies to then a paid audience. Thanks for sharing?

@aragonit: She has such a low amount of gold for balance reasons. As it is, she has more than any merchant I've seen.
Can you make a dismiss topic in her dialogue? to send her back to wherever she comes from?
And can you give her more gold? She has about 6000 gold... That's not enough to buy all the stuff found in one big dungeon. She should have 50k or so.
She's just a light skinned imperial with dark hair and a blue/green merchant outfit. Nothing special.
