Trying to figure out how to make the camera move a bit to the right & a little up so I can actually see what I am shooting at with a bow... Like another member mentioned, anytime I try to fire an arrow, 3/4 of my view is either blocked by the elbow, or just the player itself.. No matter what adjustments I make to any of these settings (fOverShoulderCombatAddY=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosZ=134.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosX=134.0000 fOverShoulderPosZ=134.0000 fOverShoulderPosX=134.0000), It will not even adjust the camera visuals at all, I've already tried 25 different number settings, including negative & positive, even switching a number from (i.e. fOvershouldercombatposz=134.0000 to -134.0000) Just to see if there is an adjustment that had been made, and the camera position is identically the same position, no matter what numerical switches I make. :(
Got it, for everyone who wants the "normal" 3rd person view/camera as combat view/camera, here are my settings that i added and played around in the Skyrim.ini file. The code works in Skyrim Special Edition, it should work in the normal version too. I only set the height and distance from the normal camera a tiny bit higher in the "fOverShoulderCombatAddY" and "-PosZ"-lines (negative values = more distance/height). Didn't test it with melee weapons, but bows are a not much noticeable bit off the middle of the crosshair on long distance shots. And thank you @Blacklyte for the code lines!
That's exactly what i am searching for, had a bug yesterday where the camera got back to the position where it was when no weapons or spells are drawn even though the bound bow was still equipped but i can't figure out how it occured.
