The fix with the corpse seemed to work fine I think. Mod itself feels very good, although the underground homes could need some more cozyness, maybe add some more details and lights? Oh, and I had problems reaching the dungeon with whirlwind spell, had to use tcl command instead. But maybe that´s just me. haha
Anyway, great mod, endorsed, I hope you continue working on it!
Ack! Thanks StormDrummer - that explains a lot. It looks like I screwed something up when I was packing the upload for here. It should be fixed now I think.
Thanks for giving it another go Darzuk. I really appreciate the feedback, and I'm sorry for any frustration I might have caused you.
If you find yourself back in that area again, could you let me know if you can see like a blood spatter pattern on the rock the corspe should be beside. If you can - then I'll know there's some problem with the corpse despawning and I can add a container or bag and some static objects instead easy enough. If you can't, then there's probably some mod conflict breaking everything I put over there and I'll have to come up with some alternative way to find the place.
Also, you might want to have explore around the big fallen tree over to the right of where he should be and see if you can see anything.
I did not search in that area as I felt it was outside of the "SW of Riverwood". I will reinstall and try again. I don't use the console unless I have no other choice... ruins the fun
Thanks for the help.
*update* The corpse is NOT in my game even though your mod is installed manually using NMM interface. I see in the pic where the corpse should be, but it's not in my game. I am not sure what might cause this (other than a Mod conflict), so I will watch this in case someone figures it out and shares the info here.
I've added an image to show where it is. It's zoomed out a bit, but it's there just to the right of the pair of trees on the left of the picture. I had put this up with the steam workshop upload but forgot to include it here, so sorry about that. This is on the opposite bank from the village, to the south and just to the right of a path leading up the mountain - there'll be a tower on the cliff above.
I wanted to put this somewhere slightly out of the way - I'd rather not have people tripping over corpses every time they walk a certain path. Maybe I chose a poor spot in the end.
Hopefully it's not the case that something is causing this to despawn.
Of course, if anyone doesn't feel like searching around, "coc grafinnheim" in console should put you right inside the front door.
I have spent hours today looking for the corpse. No corpse found at all. I went between Riverwood and three stones, both sides of river. Any further to the south is not near Riverwood, it is either near Helgen or Falkreath. If you say it's near Riverwood there is no sense in looking further than the Guardian Stones.
I am not going to tell you to change how players start this mod. Some of us just aren't good enough to do it I guess (me). Uninstalled.
No I am not whining... just disappointed in myself for failing. I will find an easier mod.

are the entrance containers safe? I put stuff in each to test it and put time scale to 30000 waited a month.. nothing respawned. wanted to confirm
I'll do a coziness pass when I have some time for sure.
