i will say without lying and idiotic flattery, that this mod is very good and useful.I already said that, but i just want to support redskinman316 and lostraven.
I can use this tool just to check if there are any new updates. It is simple and handy.
I dont give many mods an endorcement but this one is one that I have wanted since steam started doing their mods. I like how I can check once a day to see if there is an update on a mod I love and this does the job and it does it well Its people like you that makes Bethesda say we have seen some really good mods so we want to make the next game have modding as well!
@superdean I'm kinda' disappointed that you seem to have just dumped this project in favor of Mod Organizer. I've tried to use Mod Organizer, but it doesn't seem to do what your mod does: tell me if the mods I have are outdated or not. I was super happy with your program as it more or less did precisely what I wanted it to do. Mod Organizer doesn't (unless I'm using it incorrectly). All well.
Hey Supeardean, quick question. I just had to format and reinstall windows. I backed up the save.txt file but it won't let me open it. Green font, access is denied when I try. Do you know how I can get around this? Tried changing owner and permissions...
Now this is ingenious! Will definitely endorse! I suppose a good feature to add in future versions would be the ability to move mods up and down the list/sort alphabetically, would help if someone had a million mods.
