Ex Blade, Sigmund Madius returns home from the perils of the Great War. Unfortunately, those perils are still hunting him, and follow him back. Lady Arranelya, one of the highest ranking generals for the Thalmor army, has also survived the Great War, and her long search for Madius and the remaining blades is finally coming to an end. This chance encounter with his greatest enemy sends Madius into a daze and he begins reliving the battles that brought him to this fateful moment.
