Ahh, came back a little late to vote for this mod in 2013, as was my intention (I was hospitalized for over 18 months having a leg removed and recontructive/plastic surgery to try to hide a small bit of the damage done). Voted now.
I had to hunt for this, and the search on this site is as we all know, VERY lacking. Searching for arrows doesn't even show this mod!
Still my most favorite mod after UNPskinny. I just can't seem to enjoy playing unless I can find my daedric arrows when I shoot them, and this tracer mod really solves that problem.
The explosive arrows end up being a bit overpowered for me but I surely love that tracer.
I love this idea, but i have a question, if (for personal use) want to use your explosive (friggin super awesome i might add) arrows, but use the skin and model of another mods daedric arrow, wich files would i need to combine? i dont know anything about creating mods so i dont hava ny idea if this would work, but i fugured id ask atleast
the arrow model id like to use (not the quiver though) is this mods model/skin http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31864//? but with your mods awesomeness attached to it
The number one thing I would request would be a skin change to something bright yellow or green for the arrow itself... so when/if you miss the target you can still find the arrow.
Exploding isn't really necessary for me though, as I can enchant the bow itself to do additional damage already. To the point that a single successful shot will likely kill anything below a dragon, with a dragon it typically takes 3. Granted this is with a higher level character with increased enchanting skills an fairly normal smithing skills. (Using Ely's/Community Uncapper of course.)
Your arrow would be more awesome with a timer and color changing-feature. For example, the arrow hits a target and detonates after 5 seconds. In this time he´s changing the color from green to red.
