For anyone who might be interested in using this mod: I suggest you supplement it with mods that make inventories and treasure scarcer (such as 'Scarcity') and makes the guards more attentive and watchful (such as 'Suspicious city guards'). Last and likely most importantly: you need a mod that makes crime actually 'punishing' to be caught committing. I strongly recommend 'Serious crimes of Skyrim'.

Look in any of the halls where everyone sleeps at the college. The chests should be in the "room" where said merchant sleeps except for the orc librarian. His chest is in the library.

So I realize that commenting has ended almost a year ago, but I just downloaded this mod for the first time and it seems as the though no chest shows up for the riverwood trader. That said, I have Skyrim SE and I don't know if this mod is meant for SE or vanilla.

This is "Oldrim", not Special Edition. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition

Has anyone tested this to see if it works in SE?

EDIT: Finally got the time to try, and it does indeed seem to work fine in SE!

    Hi there.

First: Thanks for the mod I really appreciate it.

However, there are some chests I just can't find. Could you tell me the location?

Hi all.  I know this thread is ancient but I had a few thoughts on the mod.  I'm really glad I found it since it makes it worth breaking into shops.  However, the way it is now, you're almost guaranteed to get out with their entire inventory every time.  Sure, you could have discipline and refuse to save the game before you pickpocket the key off of the sleeping merchant but human nature will usually prevail and lead to reloading the save until you get a successful pickpocket of the chest key and walk out with everything as the stupid guards just stare at you coming out of a supposedly locked door at 2am.  I really want to keep the mod but it's obvious that I'll be a millionaire soon with every item in the game.  I don't know how to mod but it seems like it would be easier to make a couple tweaks than try to write guard AI.  How hard would it be to make it so the game won't let you save the game while trespassing? also, maybe every time you take a single item from the chest it's like another pick pocketing check but less difficult.  that way you can't just mash the button until the whole chest is in your pocket and if you make too much noise rustling through the chest/fail your skill check the npc merchant(s) will respond like an enemy does when you make noise in stealth mode and come to investigate.  I'd be happy to try but I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm having a small bug where some of the chests (like the one outside the Warmaiden's) are double. The two chests are in the same place, so there is no visual glitch but when I steal from one, I notice there is another one pixel away that is still locked and with inventory in it. I haven't checked if the merchant it belongs to still has inventory after emptying one of them out but it is rather disconcerting and immersion breaking. Any clues, tips, and troubleshooting would be appreciated.
