hey tonewheelz, have u tried it out yet? i'm halfway done installing my extensive mod list for my new playthrough and i haven't gotten to try this one out yet. i wanted to use it also to have everyone in my party to change from combat gear to town clothing simultaneously with me.
Yes, I use this mod still, and it works perfectly. There is one other mod FollowerLivePackage that automatically changes clothing, as well as a plethora of other features. It is quite an advanced mod and has somewhat of a steep learning curve. I use this mod and that one together because, although I like the way it automatically changes follower's based on location, I also like the ability to manually change follower item sets using the gems in this mod.
What happens if because another mod (mark of arkay) I lose the rings that come with this mod??? Exist a console command to recover them??? Or reset them??
I'm also wandering this. I just noticed one of my rings is gone from my inventory and I would have to loose a bit of time returning to an older save file where said ring was still in my inventory. How is it even possible to loose them? Can they be sold to merchants accidentally??? I guess you can always uninstall re-install the mod, but then you loose all your set-ups...kind of a drag. A console command would be extremely helpful
The workaround I found is to do a clean save, that's the only solution I have found, this is my preferred hotkey mod and I just have found that by deactivating the plugin (esp) or sometimes it requires to deactivate the whole mod (if you are using mod organizer like me) after that just do a clean save, quit the game reactivate the mod and play again the rings must reset Have fun =) !!!

You said in a recent post that in the Creation Kit I can edit your mod and add more rings. How do I do that? Sorry but I have no modding experience. I installed the creation kit and am going through beginner tutorials.
EDIT: I managed to successfully edit PBGearRings and increased the number of gear sets from 8 to 20. It took a lot of time getting familiar with the tools and going through a lot of tutorials but I did achieve my goal, so no need to respond to this post.
could you explain it more accurate? want to do the same for my setup. worked with the creation kit before editing different values for mods im using. but i dont know how to do that for this mod....
Your mod includes an awesome feature that lets me decide per individual gear ring whether to remove all worn items before equipping the Gear Ring Armor Set or whether to add the Gear Ring Armor Set on top of whatever my character is currently wearing.
This is really useful when I just want to add a Hood and Cloak on top of whatever my character is currently wearing. Otherwise when I try to add just a Hood and Cloak my character would be naked except for a Hood and Cloak.
How can I get my Follower to set a Gear Ring Set to equip on top of the current outfit and not unequip the currently worn outfit before adding a Gear Ring Armor Set such as a Hood and Cloak?
This feature works really well for my character but I cannot get it to work for my followers.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this mod! I realize that for most, this mod is obsolete, but it was perfect for what I wanted to do. I'm playing in a roleplay sort of setting and I wanted both me and my follower to have outfits for bed, the bath, various adventures, etc. I tried doing it a bunch of different ways, but none of them were as easy and seamless as this. Thank you for keeping this mod up!
Hi thank you for your mod. Has there ever been an update or fix for the magical/enchantments not loading properly? Does anyone know of an alternative or work around to fix the issue? Thanks
Hi I think that your mod remains more effective than the module of SkyUI, whoever well perfectly integrated to the UI (necessarily) it seems to me limited enough and more random in the recording and the correct application of the dresses which we protected. so i hope your mod will find a second life even if i think you are done with it... greetings
