Great mod but is there any way you could make one to affect npc's?

Would there be any chance of seeing this made usable for the consoles? I have an xbox one, and the weird treebark looking vampire faces are killing it for me.

i'e always loved you so much for this mod, really. but now, i'm playing as a nord with the hair physics project (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/47000//?), and when i se your batch in game the ponytail from that mod screws up, with even the hair animation freezing. i can't fix this even by changin hair before using your batch and get the ponytail after that. any suggestion?

I started using that mod recently as well
I did get ponytail screwed several times, it happens because of Havocs #stupid# habit to bump objects on load (you can observe it sometimes if you load game in room with many objects on shelves, especially books).
Only workaround I found was changing to my non-vampire race (in my case it was "setrace highelfrace"), then using "showracemenu" to change my hairstyle any non-animated one, save game, restart Skyrim, "showracemenu" again and change back to ponytail, run "setrace highelfracevampire" to put things back in order.

Also there is a mod on nexus, RaceMenu (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29624/?) which allows you to save your face preset, it is quite helpful in situations like this.

Are you using any sort of ENB btw? There might be a workaround not.

I think this mod/fix here kinda lacks a detailed description of what it actually is...

So I downloaded it and had a look at the files but now I gotta wonder WHY these 2 commands fix the burned face and if there are any possible side effects of running those commands, like when you use the showracemenu it may sometimes reset all your skills and such and/or cause problems with the face..

Would be nice to have such info explained here!

No, it won't screw your stats, etc..

To put it simple - it changes your characters race parameter to original (human/mer race, which is *yourrace*race) and then back to your race's vampire analog (which is *yourrace*racevampire). Game engine uses these 2 types of races to morph your face (make it look gaunt) and change your eyes to vampire eyes.

I would advise against using inappropriate scripts for your character's race, using wrong one will set you to the wrong race and your head morph will look awful (most likely, as they don't really match for different races). It can be fixed if you run appropriate one afterwards or use appropriate console command.

Why does it fix the bug? It makes game engine refresh your character's appearance, and thankfully game engine can at least handle that without producing errors From what I noticed this bug used to appear after changing zones/loading save games, my guess is either that face/eyes textures get somehow damaged while being stored in cache (maybe partially overlapped by other data) and when game loads them from cache on zonechange/load - this bug appears, or that it is an error in coding. With latest patches I noticed it stopped happening so often, so I guess Bethesda improved game's code

Mod itself doesn't do anything really, unless you execute one of commands.

For facemarks - it seems they are not available for vampires, I observed it on several npcs with warpaints. It's completely fine that they disappear if you turn into vampire.
Maybe there is a mod somewhere to add warpaints for vampires too though.

What I want to know is why hasn't this mod received more endorsements? This fixed up my male Nord face problem (Using Dawnguard as a Vampire Lord) without an issue. I tried exiting out of the software and re-logged back in, and it stayed. Good job.

Thanks a lot! Worked (works) for me =)

I kinda hope this can become some kind of script that would automaticly correct this issue on loading though =P

    Anyways, thanks again! =D
