Great mod, I never talk to him normally because I don't want this quest in my log because I don't want to do it. I got the journal and went up to talk to him. In the end he attacked me which caused all the guards to attack him, he fled into the inn and was taken down by the guards and the quest was marked as finished.
Thank you for this mod. I roleplay an Imperial and being forced to make a quest for a bandit to kill my own kind was ridiculously non-immersive (because the quest will be there forever even if I refuse it). I managed to kill the ruffian and his sister, then I dispensed the ("talk to jaree" rumor quest) quest with console command. (I wish I could know how to implement this command on this same MOD after choosing to kill Jaree, in order to keep even more immersive.)
Since I switched from NMM to ModOrganizer2 I have no more of these weird issues, and mods are much easier to manage and install. If you don't want to use MO2, you could just install the mod manually and it should work.
Also works in SE. Gets hilarious if you have both Relationship Diallogue Overhaul and Reactive Guards installed. RDO causes Jaree to run away (usually into the tavern) instead of standing his ground while Reactive Guards causes the guards to take off after him.
When I try to download it via NexusModManager it says there was an error registering the mod. What's that about? I guess I'll try and install it manually...
