I apologize for the inconvenience, but I'm pretty sure that shields can be mounted on the wall plaques... I'm not entirely sure what you mean by shield mounting wall stud... My apologies.
@Nicholax70, I really like the new location of the house. It is very secluded and out of the way, thank you!
I noticed that in the new location my follower would not come into the house with me. I also ordered her to go through the door and she replies she can't do that. Was the new location navmeshed for followers? In the previous locataion my followers had no problems with the house.
And if you really want to improve on this wonderful home please use my idea below to remove the plaques and install shield mounting wall studs all over the inside of this house. I would really appreciate it if you would do this. It would become my main home if I could just mount and display all of these beautiful shields that I have captured.
Sorry for the bad news, but because we plan to make this "Tribute to The Wicker Man" so detailed and in-depth, we have put it off until we have further knowledge of, and the skill to make mods more smooth and entertaining. Excellent, I am glad to see I don't have to lose my Dovahkiin Vacation Home lol ! I've decided to continue with the Original Home until Dawnguard is released, and then remove and update. At this point the release could be anywhere from the 26th of this month, to the 30th of September, so we'll see! Technically the "30 Day XBOX360 Exclusive" ends the 26th, but there has been no word yet (which most agree is due to a "radio silence" stipulation in the deal with Microsoft) so I am not getting my hopes up. Then to make matters worse, the official IGN page for Dawnguard on PC lists release date as September 30th, 2012. In the mean time, I'll still have my vacation home at least! Thanks for the update n70!
There are 2 new files that I have uploaded to the mod site. Choice 2a contains Mannequins in the bedroom. Choice 2b contains Wall Plaques in the bedroom for weapons and shields.
Within both files, crafting satchels have been added and placed on top of the crafting tables, along with a new safe in the bedroom, as requested.
Feel free to download both mods, but please do not activate both of them. This will, undoubtedly, cause problems. Please be careful. Remember to endorse!
I have moved the location of the house to a more suitable, secluded zone that should not be used by Dawnguard, the expansion. It is near the southern gate entrance of Skyrim, in a small dip of the mountains surrounding it. Sadly, this home no longer has a view over-looking the province, but is secluded and subtle. Quiet.
The files should be uploaded soon. I am still working on it.

The majority of the players whom have downloaded this mod seem to like it. However, there is a slight problem. The location of my Home which I have provided, is seated on a location that will be used in the expansion, Dawnguard. Because of this, I will need to remove the mod files from the site. When I download Dawnguard and scout the area, I will determine if the home is in a suitable location or if it will have to be nudged around or moved elsewhere. I am So sorry for this inconvenience and I hope that I will be able to resolve it soon. I did not see this coming. - Nicholax70
