after months of playing with faendal at my side i got a bit tired of him looking like an old man and a friend recommended this mod: you're a godsend! thanks so much for making this!
Does this work if you have the Hearthfire dlc? I mean does he have dialogue about your children, etc, like other characters, and how bandits can kidnap your spouse and you have to save them? Also, does this work with the Dawnguard dlc? Like when you are a vampire and are married there is a quest to turn your spouse into a vampire as well. Does that work with Anruin? Or if you're in the Dawnguard faction, your spouse could be kidnapped and you have to rescue them, does that work with this character?
I apologize for my very very late reply, as I was actually away from Skyrim for quite some time. Honestly, I have no idea if he works with Hearthfire, as I do not have that DLC and have no desire to buy it. If anyone can confirm whether or not he works with it, please do. He was created using the CK and is a very simple follower mod, but I did not do anything special to give him Dawnguard compatibility and do not know if he requires anything special for the vampire spouse quest. I would like to say that he should work since he is flagged as a potential spouse and can be married, but I have never tried to do this myself. I'm sorry I can't be more help in these areas! The only solid advise I can give is to try it out yourself, just make a save prior to installing the mod and then test it out, uninstall the mod and go back to your old save if something doesn't work.
I always kind of liked Faendal, despite the whole Sven conflict.. but his face was, like the rest of NPCs, lacking. There wasn't much separating him from any other Wood Elf you came across in Skyrim.. but now there is! And he looks great, so thank you
I downloaded the Unique Follower version(Keeps Faendal) and he isn't making an appearance at the Bannered Mare Mare ><? Must your character become level 10 first?
Ok so I have Anruin too, gone to marry him and he just disappears, not sure where he went after the ceremony but he is not back at the inn, so I am confused. Ideas?
I honestly don't know. I always try to catch him before he leaves the temple and get him to follow me again so that doesn't happen. Sorry I can't be more help. >.<
